  1. HUH.....I'm stumped I used the memory tester like you suggested fms1, and as it turns out, my skyrim doesn't go anywhere NEAR 4gbs, instead its just chilln at like 1.7 Although this is true, I still can't ignore the fact that my skyrim freezes everytime the task manager says its process is near 2gbs could this be a safety feature implemented somewhere in windows to stop programs from exhausting to much memory? could it be hardware related? any help?
  2. Alright everyone, sorry for the incredibly late response! Here's my specs (graciously provided by speccy) Operating System MS Windows 7 64-bit SP1 CPU Intel Core i5 2500K @ 3.30GHz 48 °C Sandy Bridge 32nm Technology RAM 8.00 GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 798MHz (11-11-11-28) Motherboard ASRock Z68 Pro3 (CPUSocket) 46 °C Graphics SAMSUNG (1920x1080@30Hz) AMD Radeon HD 6900 Series (ATI AIB) 64 °C Hard Drives 488GB Western Digital WDC WD5000AAKS-00A7B0 ATA Device (SATA) 42 °C Optical Drives ASUS DRW-24B1ST ATA Device VGXYNY LYZ0DYFSLEV0 SCSI CdRom Device Audio USB Audio Device So then this might all be because of the latest patch? couldn't I just go back to an older version?
  3. well, its well known that bethesda patched skyrim to use 4gb's now, however, as the title might imply, its not doing so for me, sure enough everytime skyrim takes up about 1.8gb's in memory, it freezes. doesn't even crash, so I have to ctrl-alt-delete it away. Any suggestions? the 4gb mod also didn't help WHY MUST I ALWAYS TROUBLESHOOT ALWAYS
  4. Hello. I usually have large scale battles on skyrim (specifically on the Toy Box mod) and at the beginning of these massive battles my pc is running smooth 60fps+ however as the battle progresses I start to experience more and more lag and fps drops. I came to the conclusion that the lag starts when the npc's start to die, or in other words they start to drop there weapons on the ground. Is there a mod or a way to stop npcs from dropping there weapons on death so that its just in there inventory? I believe I remember seeing a mod like that but I can't seem to find it... Any help is appreciated, thanks!
  5. SOOOOO, I found the 20 minute leak of skyrims intro to the game, but now i'm hearing people talking about MORE footage from after this point... something about bandits a horse and a merchant.... SO I was wondering if someone could give me a link to the after leak of the leak. THANKYOU
