Great points, also don't forget Serena is a character in catharsis, she obviously (consciously or unconciously) wants to change, even she herself doesn't know into *what* , changing her stance in regards to her familiy for instance. She reflects the PC in a sense. This is why she is one of the more interesting vanilla NPCs.
In my game she the princess I marry, (with marriageable Seranna) shes a heroine, no doubt, and after the story line has her dignity and honor are restored and as as my queen. No need to give up her immortality for that. She can make it her own instead.

I don't like his attitude about pre existing vampires, hes no highborn vampire by birth, no such think in skyrim, unless you want metaphorical rebirth, the death crd, but you got no great enlightenment.
A king yes, true enough he can say piss-ant peasant if he likes but save the you are prey comment when dealing with someone who is humoring you and could wipe out your whole castle in 3 min if he was of a bugardly dawnguard mindset too.
molog did not give you all that much, killing 1000 and the Armand cult stuff should have done it but he had to do your wife and daughter to, and you were ok with that, no royal pride or honor. You are no true king, and make a poor devil.
My character is a hero that is also a straight up villain, but he has more honor than that, if it came to that I would find another patron god.
Lets see buddy think I'll take your gift, via mod marry your daughter, lead your clan, inherit your castle, and kill you!
Want to think your using me to get the bloody grail of molog? sure, I'll play...but if I had Able Nightroad like feeding from better vampires by that point I would not do you the honor of true combat, like the noble durnaver, or however you spell his name...I would just eat you...be like shut up your food.

vilja is wonderful but puts you through too much to marry her. I have never manged to go through all of it without giving up on the game in question from the distraction, as I tend to be goal oriented but shes a real princess, and sweet enough to kill a diabetic in under 5 min.
Im just not so laid back as a dovakin. Yet I like her...I like her a lot. Lol would just rather, marry her
after chapter one and get to go through all else married.
Sofia is as advertised, she is what she says she is, she dose not fit lore in rp, shes great fun, most comments are faltering and funny...but some of it is a little crude but most would not care, if they are not rpers like me.
I still use her often though I am manly referring to just 2 lines one of them the peeing in a bottle and selling it as a youth potion to drink.
The other a random insult, which would be fine if related to something happening but can occur at random highly inappropriate times.
That said the mod author gives clear instruction for fixing this or any line issues you may have if not technically lazy.
Best? Marriageable Serana moD! if you can live with the jealousy of her on a couple levels as a darker character, she is the ultimate wife though...and for the right sort of character, you cant not fall in love.
Best thing is its not awkward but perfect and fully integrated, she has taken from game, relevant lines too. Almost seamless.

You want the gay straight ratio, to represent actual reality and not be a alien world where no one cares and seems unconcerned with reproduction, at least where the player character is concerned...well why not think of it like this...its not that they are gay or straight, its just that its you, isn't it? The dragonborn! And...your a star, a bright shining star! Even straight/gay men and/or women want to marry you. Think of that. That said the jester is probably, truly gay.

On the other hand if what you are is a vampire its better to establish that first and make a place for yourself in the world...unless your a werewolf, which is also OK I guess but the hair in your ears, people wont shut up about that....no manners it seems. If you somehow stopped them from saying it...you know they would still be thinking it...and hard.

I think there is even a mod to make it look like that. I did not get you meant that and not just general wow like enchanting, which I guess i subconsciously must just think of as a trade skill. lol

Hey guys, I was planning on making a new character and like many of you, started planning ahead on his skill development. I myself haven't ever attempted to play a "dark" character, preferring to be somewhere in between Good and Neutral. I had decided to go for a Nord battlemage and found myself reaching a brick wall when it came to what profession skill I wanted to spend my time on. I find myself being a bit hesitant on enchanting purely for its "Soul Consumption".
What do you guys think? I would also love to hear more of the process of soul gems. Do you think that it pushes the boundaries to take an animal or human's life energy?
In my view that's just plan silly, you wont be able to sympathize with a lot of complicated people in skyrim, even the whiterun jarl has a court wizard if no real magic himself, and every starting character gets two spells by default.
I'm sure the jarl could set someones butt on fire, put them out, then heal them if he really wanted to. The storm cloak guy? Forget about it.
If your having problems with this, enchanting, then what about serana?
Not being rude, just curios...any moral judgments on her for being a daughter of cold whatever? Prob wont be down loading the marriageable serana mod will you?
I know that's assuming much but I don't think a paladin in many games would have a problem enchanting there stuff or wearing stuff that is, same difference really.

You know in my experiences when that happens in a city its because of a bad follower customization, or added content in the location, ironically your usually going there early to check out said mod. Did you add something to riften? Could be a contradiction or overload. Could it be a thief guild overhaul perhaps, a pretty girl?

I Want nexus to know mod installer wont do simple bat files anymore. It once did, last time I went on skyrim binge but the new one wont.
I know I can put them in myself like all mods, however, I still wish the mod manager would do so, and not have a error each time.
It will download them but wont install them like it will other mods it just has a error without a pop up window in the little progress box and leaves it uninstalled.
Also I cant understand how to permanently remove mistakenly installed mods.
I can only disable them...there is no click a second time to remove and if the mod has a installer, disabling and activating again wont make it run it.
You need to disable and download a second copy not overwriting to change options.
That said I still find it a useful tool for which I am most grateful, maybe I can use an earlier version?

I want to make the first lore practical crossover mod and I feel it would be a epic, but practical concerns hold me back.
I want to take April, directly from longest journey 1, the daughter of the white dragon and world shifter and bring her into skyrim in the middle of her quest to join the dragonborn and then have him help her and perhaps fall in love.
I have all the voice acting I need from her lines in longest journey 1 and the lesser game that was the squeal, but I Don't know if the company would let me use them.
I mean for a free mod with no profit whatsoever they really should...but I doubt that's the reality.
I also think April would make the perfect love interest for non nord incarnations of the dragonborn, prob if he were imperial or dominion elf, changed to fight for the rights or whatever.
She has a bit of Gracie from Gabriel knight one, in her personalty, who had a bit of Darla in hers, but she also got more than a bit of the princess in hers also, that's a combination I always liked.
Like Anton however, I also have a saving women complex. *SIGHS* I think in this case she would need saving from herself though...while at the same time shes very much the heroine in her own right but could do better and make better choices to be saved from an unworthy future. The mod would reflect that.
I am not so new age and pc, unimaginative and indiscriminate, that I could not make it a good mod.
I Understand timing, pacing and limited scope and focus on a select couple of characters, not sacrificing story for imagery, and simple shock value with out much point.
Playing on tensions between seeming opposites is vital, order from the perceptions of chaos, moral conflict and aesthetic principles, coming to a slow unification and understanding.
I think could make a worthy story.
You can see the logic in the mod given the two characters even the appeal of the differences, even how a story could be made lore fitting, for her to crossover.
If you toss in a chaotic third factor or an amoral, or enlightened one wanting to help April herself or the dragonborn and tamrel perhaps change the fate of two universes...even a daedric prince could be involved, or a divine.
There are other worlds than these after all.
Don't know if I could get legal rights to them though, but then a mod is just a interactive fan-fiction.
I would need the actress lines from the game though...the lg1 character model is easy enough with base game and stuff from this sight alone. more than enough.

I Disliked Delphine from the word go, mildly, then the more I talked to her the more I also distrusted her and her judgement, but more so her personalty was grating...I also tend to view dragons as more a symbol of power, wisdom and will power...kind of what the dragonborn is absorbing in the case of the ones marshaled under an enemy.
April Ryan like in a sense is the dragonborn? Kin? Surly dragons also warred with each other, and what did the undead one call him?
The town attacking dragons, they nonetheless had to have some worthwhile traits, and ancient wisdom, albeit not focused favorably on your character at the time.
Also under a bad employer, brought back by such to active life and sort of obliged or bond to that service, and in accordance with old traditions and imperatives.
Humanity, it seems, even in skyrim, are not so different.

What is the entire console commande for the player to join the thalmor faction as a high elf? is there any negitive quest related things to worry about if you do this?

Yeah my question is, how do you avoid doing everything? Is every character in keeping with the spirit of the game supossed to do everything? Is it exspected as the game is intended? If you are a spellsword and want to join dark brotherhood would need skills of a theif hence they will be bothering you to join that. if you have magic as one you are exspected to go to winterhold, so you just end up needing everything which bleeds into everything else, see the problem?

Yeah, is there a proper build so that each character dose not just end up with everything...you feel bad if you dont give them some things but I would like to play at least once with one that is not reguarded in game as everything.
Yet you cant do certain chains without, maybe you were not intended to?
What would a vampire spellsword have for skills?
Also a werewolf warrior?

In mmorpgs women i like looking at them but there can be no other interaction the characters are eye candy...in skyrim I play guys, because I marry the women and go with my wife, followers and control there moddded look.
so in skyrim the followers are females and wife is female. so I play a guy as avatar.
In mmorgs none of this is a issue.
In skyrim, there can be interactions.
Crude I know but being a guy playing a woman marrying a woman dose nothing for me, being a hetrosexual guy I cant relate to the player character as avatar and already have plenty to look at.
Thats the only issue where gender matters anyway, the main point is the adventre power and glory of the game but on this issue of gender thats the why of it.

There is some possible pronoun trouble in that he doesn't make it completely clear who he is speaking about, but he seems to be saying that Ulfric talks a good game but seems (to him) in it for the power and that he feels Ulfric is better at spouting propaganda than actually caring about the people.

yes, he has more of a dictator mentalty than that of a proper and noble ruller. Hes soldier are there to serve his purpose out of proper context. He will do this at any cost for his glory, his act with the high king seeking the ancint crown, his wording, the wording of the outh, his manner of speaking. this is not of a nord hero entire.
he uses the truth and dose not chapmpion it if this makes sense to you.
He dose not have the wit to rule nor the understanding given the world sitution. besides. He is blinded. He, meaning ulfric stormcloak.
The type of man, given the fullness of years and the time period.... Is one that like, some historcly have done...with complete cynism, (or may go mad and come to actully belive it) declare himself a living god like talos, hes probobly fasinated with the mortal ruller man to god mytholgy, aspect of it in a way other worshipers of talos are not.

In other system like with vampires and such this is to be exspected, like with harkon or the darkbrotherhood, but this is something else. myabe if he would not be such a hypocrite about it I would have more respect for the man even, than I do...because of what hes claming to be as a nord ruller and what gos along with there concept of honor. I am judging him by the way of his people only.
With the empire its about the empire itsself and skyrim, infact the genaral is open and honest to the player entirly. he has reason and logic on his side as I see it. He dose what must and should be done pragmaticly. No more or less. Many nords see this, and that dont need ruin brought down on there heads.

custom race, have player is vampire but no keyword vampire or undead, better vampire feed fix applied. Other vampires wont recignize you as one, but you will be a functioning living vampire, so I supose thats half vampire.
Vanila races you can do about the same and yet play through dawnguard with another mod sadly it wont work for dremora to let you keep your look...only vanila races. adds feature to harkons castle. so custom cant playthrough dawn guard and keep there dremora customizer look face.

with the Dremora Playable Raceby Epzaos, there is a bat vampire file that if you become (have player is vampire) through disease harken or better vampirres, it adds keywords vampire and undead, in fact it you download the bat file and type bat vampire with the mod it will turn anyrace automaticly to a undead blackfaced dremora with the key word vampire but you must have player is vampire too.
ITS A epic mod the only one that really and truly works for the real thing, It works....problem is once undead is added through bat it makes the head only match black skin look and with dremora race customizer and all the options this is anoying it seems if your going to be undead as a dremora your going to keep a black head.
before this, your dremora need not have a black face,...mine was pale with four horns long golden hair glowing daedric armor burning red eyes, and therefore diffrent than those he summond like a boss looking dremora and he is really one, makes the sounds and everything. Like a boss dremora of oblivion. also I could see a mer girl marring him. he was a handsome devil.
Make it so he can get blood magic be a vampire, vampire lord and he gos black face and only traditional skin tone will match and i have to put that crappy red face paint back on him that makes him look like the ones he summons permantly and not special.
so bat vampire is also bat black blakes devil sithlord demora head from star wars type look. Its cool but not for him, defeats point of customizing.
No other flaws in this mod, only really functional dremora race and with dawnguard.
Simply put you cant playthrough dawnguard dlc with him, and refuse to be dawnguard hunter.

Well there are some effects. You can't become a Thane in Winterhold if neutral or Imperial until the Imperial side wins the war. It also changes some of the Jarls depending on who you side with.
I actully wanted to try the storm cloaks on one character total a nord vampire fighting for his homeland as dracula did vlad, in his history but after careful questing and talking to the man, its obvious in every sense the others in the game and what the rightfuly high queen says about him is right, from his personalty, even more.
Hes no noble honorable defender of his fatherland, he uses the right keywords, catch phrases and propaganda but I have alway been good at seeing into characters, and they are totaly right about him, hes not what that guy at the begining think he is. Even the oath tells you something, his actions, talking to him.
reguardles of his cause techniqly he is an unworthy ruller. Almost like farson in the dark tower series, not as mad but close. He is a stright up vilan manipulating the nords with propaganda over nontheless valid concerns.
Roland would say he is a agent of the outter dark, trying to destroy the last baston of light and at least half civiaztion. the emire supporters contains many nords who care about there homeland. the empire alied with what it had to for a time. yet much was ignored ulfric crap started the actuly propoblem and this helped his agenda. The mans dose not understand reality and politics.

durniver or actully parthanex would make a better high king if that tells you anything, only because at least his not a hipocrite, with a slowy develping jesus complex. hes honest at least. That is a drramatization obviously but you catch my meaning.

The daedric dimigod race is awesome, basicly a darkelf with new lore and powers, need a fix with becoming a vampire, to add keyword actor type undead and vampire.
yet It says player is vampire, I can see on my better vampires, the better vampire scrips run he can feed....but without the keyword vampire and actor type undead and serana not initaly recignizing him as one i dont know if when I go to harkon it will add these words.
If I change race on the fly using my ingame race changing mods to a non custom race, this fixis itself instantly.
change back and he still functions as a vampire (pre vampire lord) but the keywords are gone. How through console or mod do I add the damn keywords?
I want him to be a freaking daedric. any simple commands with ~ to add key words?
PS:
If anyone with the skill could take a quick look at this simple daedric mostly darkelf race fix it and provide a file I would be very grateful, its abadoned I think.
Could prob do in 30 min. its here on nexus. just serch dadric demigod.

Miraak, I dont know what to do with are about that dude.
I ignored him in most other games and because of his cultist I investigated once, the artist formly known as dragonborn...after he sent me back and said all I did was kill a few dragons, all that for that?
I mean then why bug me in the first place buddy? That so brothered me I loaded earlier sav.
At first I thought he was part of a annoying mod thought killing aud was the end of dragonbrne. You know the mq?
Just stay with cuthlu and the necronomicon and mind your own biz buddyroo.
