  1. This girl is an elf (her ears and vulcan-like eyebrows-DAO elves are too human in appearance, glad that this will not be the case in DA2) while Flemeth-even in DA2-have human ears and stay human.
  2. No, they do NOT exist in DA universe. Elf+Human=Human. This why the raped girl commit a suicide- because she know that she will give birth to yet another human- impossible humiliation to the dalish.
  3. This woman definitely a human - round faced and have human ears- look here is a close up- dragon-lady. How she could be Fiona?
  4. No, your character will be no more than history. But you will be able to transfer your derisions into the new game.
  5. All of romances have tag "for a time" that a not Alister or Morrigan. It have absolutely nothing to do with commitment. It was written with the Awakening in mind where non of the romance interest are present. At least I find it to be more honest that "the love each other forever" with Alister in epilogue just kiss on the cheek leading to his wife left alone to danger. And in Awakening epilogue there is no "for a time" tag only vague description of activity of the couple. So Zev is no less loyal that Alister, in fact he is far more loyal. And does physical cheating really matter so much?
  6. I see. But what I am trying to say is that the fact that PC survives the ritual, in my option, have nothing to do with his/her will/determination/strength and other personal qualities. Its just the matter of pure luck and gameplay aka just-cause. As for me being Gray Warden is a curse and be proud and serve the curse it just unhealthy in my option my PCs done all what they do-for money and church immunity. But as you say it up to you to think that PC survives cause his/her up standing over Daveth and Ser Jory.
  7. Maybe for your characters it is true-for mine - no. Big no. They are not heroes. They are "cowards" and will chose their own life in a cost of as many as needed. They are not better that Daveth. I have tried to chose the most frightened and "I have no choice" answers. Because that is really how it is. My chars asked to be left in tower and take the death but no serve GW but no they were taken from here against their will. They are blood mages so taint is not as much a death sentence to them(yep they will kill as many innocents as it will be needed to heal themselves of that "gift") as to any without a gift of magic but this is a big problem nether the less. And they see Dunkan as a murderer he not only kill Ser Jory but tried to kill them in a name of "a greater good" and that Alister know it all and just as guilty as his mentor. So they always turn down Morrigan ritual and watch with a deep pleasure as that holier-than-holy princeling die for his "grater good". And after they leave wardens and Ferelden forever in order to cure themselves in Tewinter, on the way taking their time to defile Dunkan`s grave. I newer chose "I amd the gray warden" andsvers only a name or "no one important". And hate when NPC call my characters Warden. But I am a person who likes Anora, Isolde, Loghein and Belen and do not understand desire to be a hero at all. Self serving mercenary -yes. Hero who sacrifise his life to serw the others- big no.
  8. Soo…my choices are always the same: WARNING: those may not be pleasant for some one. 1.- Redcliff –save all while asking Wynn to go through fade even being a mage myself. I sympathize Isolde since she is mother and was afraid of a possibility of being separated with her child so much that it led her to some not so clever decisions. But I am not the one who would blame a mother for a fear for her child future. 2.- Flemeth – always kept alive. I like her character, her mystery her personality. I think that such an ancient creature should not be killed out of tool (I despise Morrigan) desires. 3.- Circle Tower- Always mages side. Since I hate church and all my characters too since they are elves and humans and humans religion have caused such a disaster for their people. 4.-Ashes- always destroyed- it’s a human religious figure, no matter that she freed elves, It were she, in whose name were Dales destroyed. Newer kill a dragoness. I like those beasts as last bits of magic that is eluding from that world. 5.- Elves- not so hard choice at all. Kill werewolves, kill witherfang. Zathrian have all rights to hate humans as much as he does. 6.- Orzammar- Bhelin one and only. Politics is a hobby that is not intended for a “good, honorable and moral” ones. Its destined for the strong and pitiless, for ones that are able to kill a 100 infants in order to let 1.000.000 survive. 7. –Anora always queen as I like her very much. Se is sharp as blade and nice politician. Alister is decapitated and Loghain is alive in order to die as a hero and save my characters life. 8. –Morrigan always turned down on her proposal. It’s a pity that I can’t kill her.
  9. I actually like his character. He pretty sensible and want a place for his people in this world that created them. I tend to like characters with truly inhuman morales as this is so rare in a fantasy setting. All races are the same as humans in a moral ways with some aspects exaggerated ( like almost saint and forgiving elves, to thick headed dwarfs etc.) even DAO didn't mowed from this except taking "screw you elves" on a new high. And I think that no matter which way but humans have a hand in creating spawns and so should pay for it even if it will lead to total annihilation of intelligent races.
  10. As an elf and only elf player I prefer Massive armor variations as they more drastically reflect the difference between elven lean and elegant body type in comparison with chunky and bear type body of humans. I hate medium armor for the same reason- elves wearing it look like short humans with slightly more narrowed waist.
  11. IMHO no one is right. It just two slightly parallel timlines like the one you create every time when creating a NON male human noble PC that have a romance with Morrigan. My idea is that PC simply cant be 30 and that it age variable because ether there is something wrong with the games world but no one, even in real modern world will call a 30 years old man/woman "child" constantly by different people(I am 27 and no one seems to call me even "young" anymore) while the said "child' called some one who is no more that 40-45 "old man". Books or no books-this is so unnatural that I will prefer to stay with the game here. And 30 years protagonist in an RPG game with the 20+ target audience? So big no-no here. David Gaider said on the Bioware Forums, that Alistair's age is 20 when you first meet him and that Morrigan is in her 20+. HE said it himself without any pressure. This is too a game typo and EA hand? Its the world creators own words. Should I not believe it? As a loong time WarCraft fan- I know that there is a thing like retcons in its every book time flow differently and we simply do not care anymore. Ewen writers themselves could forgot what time is it and just stop trying to cut the lose ends as no one except die hard lore fans would be concerned. Not a big deal=).
  12. I know that, and because of this toolset information seems plain wrong. I am agree with the 30 years Morrigan sins I have always found her closest to her 30 than to 20, so just a personal opinion here.
  13. After looking in toolset char data I have decided to stay with formal PC is 20+- 2 years old. Because all ages there is such a mess that I would not touch with a ten foot pole. Morrigan 30 I do agree with this but Alistair 32 and still called "young man"? There is something wrong there. Perhaps there is classical book-to-game time line mess.
  14. I personally think that we can not tell 100% that PC age is the same in all origins. And to me PC age differs from 18 to 25 years. No more than 25 because PC can tell Wynn that she is old enough to be its grandmother and she is 55 by toolset information.
  15. From my RP perspective my characters just do not wont to be presented to the crowd-it is too dangerous to be seen by so many people at once. And they will not lie about the duty - all of my characters were forced to join Gray Wardens and they hate the order with passion and will sig out as soon as possible- the only reason they done what they done were money and chantry immunity- nothing heroic or glorious. The less people will see them the better as they all go to have a new life some where else. I can have this all in my mind for sure but I cringer inside every time I HAVE to trow them public just to see epilogue. This mod will just make my RP experience better.
