  1. Is it possible to add fangs/ vampire teeth to custom race without making that custom race flagged as vampire? I have come accross similar threads like this but all went unanswered. All I can think of is creating a custom headpart similar to femalemouthhumanoiddefault adding the custom race model.nif and keeping the default.tri. As for the chargen I used mouthhumanfchargen.tri for vampires. Changed valid races to lunari race and vampires. I then deleted the default Additional Head Parts entry for the mouth and added the altered one. All I get is the default teeth, it is as if I made no changes at all. I am quite new to this so if anyone has a more effective fix or can figure out what I did wrong, any help would be appreciated.
  2. Ok this is more of a bump than any real help to this topic. I have been pulling my hair out over this searching through the CK for anything that might help. However all I do is get negative results and I am sure that if I did get it to work it would just screw up the save. I am not that skilled in CK and I am afraid I will do something stupid, however TESVEdit is coming along quite well and I will try and use that and see what happens. From what I have been reading it seems no custom race has race specific dialogue attached to it. If we can get this issue ironed out perhaps this will help modders out there with plans to add custom npc dialogue for custom races. But for now if anyone can just figure out how to add vanilla race dialogue to custom races that would be a good start.
  3. Ok I have defined new eye textures within the GECK under the characters tab and added them to my custom race in the face data tab. When creating a new npc in the geck the eye textures show up and I can create npcs no problem. However I do not know how to make it so my player character has the new eye textures for the custom race assigned to it. I did it for hair and it works no problem and FNVEdit shows the eye textures under the custom race tree. Can the eye textures show up within the race menu along with blue, green and hazel or is there sometheing else I must do to get the textures? Any assistance is appreciated.
  4. Skyrim audio converter works for me, however converting the file to .mp3 is tedious just to listen to it. For adding custom tracks its great but i just want to be able to listen to the file so I know which ones are which. thanks for the help at least i am getting somewhere.
  5. I am having a bit of a problem with VLC and .xwm files. I read on some threads that .xwm files can be played on VLC though some have reported that the playback quality is subpar. I have the latest version 2.0.4 and I am unable to get anything out of the player at all, the player will not even recognize the file was even opened. From the forums it seemed like all was required was VLC and I checked on their website and .xwm is supported. Is there some codec or plugin I need or something I am forgetting? Attachment is player after opening file with VLC, there is nothing no playback or recognition that file was opened. Any help would be appreciated.
  6. It is? I have heard nothing to that effect so far in game and I know Hadvar leaves out any vanilla race specific lines. I am looking in Character/ Race and all I see is a keywords box with ActorBretonProxy though I am sure this is unrelated, is there anyone willing to give me two or three steps as to how I could make the race be say Imperial?

Is there anyway to make NPCs (Guards, Stormcloaks, Legion etc.) recognize a custom race (i.e. Ashen) and give the appropriate comments for a desired race (I've got my eyes on you Imperial, Greetings Redguard whatever you know what i mean). I have looked through the Google and forums and though this topic has been brought up before its never been resolved. Is there any new insight into this? I would assume that in the CK there is a way to associate the custom race to the main quest dialogue that occurs in the opening scene. Otherwise I am at a loss, I have looked through the Race files in CK and there is nothing that jumps out at me as being related to npc dialogue. Any help?

I get same thing only I can move through Morthal a little bit before I CTD, swamp and western shoreline is instant CTD, only mods I can think of that would affect Morthal are Expanded Towns and Cities, Realistic Lighting, Improved Interior Lighting, W.A.T.E.R., SkyTest just Animal Behaviour, GetSnowy and Immersive Travelers. I have made new games without some of these mods installed and I still get CTD. Can you post any mods you think may affect those cells so we can compare?
  9. I have the exact same problem, this actually helps me a lot too. The only mods we have in common are SOS Dungeons and Wilds, as well as Midas. I deactivated my mods and tried them one at a time and it seems that my problem had something to do with custom races. Whenever I play a custom race i.e. Drow - Beta I get CTD in bridge area near Abandoned Prison, and near Stormcloak camp next to solitude. There are others but cant remember. Perhaps SOS, Midas when used with other mods creates an incompatibility. I recommend doing what I did by process of elimination start with half of all mods unticked and work your way from there. Takes awhile but is only way, please respond and tell me what you find. PS why you have SkyUI .esp and bellabetterfemals.esp I do not recall these mods having .esps

  11. Never considered it was a add-on problem thought it was just an incompatible browser or that Nexus had redone the setup somehow. Uninstalled than reinstalled Firefox with defaults and now I can see the button. Thanks for the help!
  12. I am not really a newbie but ever since the nexus pages were upgraded I can not for the life of me figure out how to change the sort order in the files listings pages. I have the drop down boxes name, downloads etc.and the ascending/ descending drop down box but then I cant submit anything there is no button to tell the site to reorder the file listings. I tried pressing enter but that does nothing anyone know how to fix this?

I know Kastien has a one handed spear mod KSTN Spear Stance 1H (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=27865&navtag=file/images.php?id=27865&tab=3) and it is absolutely wonderful for the spear type player. However this is only supported for a one handed spear. Could anyone make a two handed mod? Kastien has given permission to use his mod as long as credit is given so someone with the know how could make a mod with relative ease. That is all I ask I am sure others would want the same I do however only ask that if someone where to make such a mod that they keep it realistic. Kastien accomplished this perfectly all of the animations are fluid yet practical. I will eternally grateful for anyone who attempted this.
  14. I can not figure out what is wrong when I run DC Sutch Reborn, I get non cell related CTDs as in the game will CTD when I am no where near the sutch cells. They also appear to be occurring in regular intervals from loading the save game. I have never seen this before the game initializes and I load my save game then after about ten minutes I get a CTD, this seems to occur faster if I fast travel where I will get a CTD about 10 seconds after loading the new cell. I have all of the compatibility patches I think and I am running TS's OBMM with BOSS. My load order is attached bellow. The only thing I can think of is either there is a problem with my OOO (ver. 1.333) or my UL patch in not working. Please any help is appreciated.
  15. I am looking for a mod that restores the cell of a once opened oblivion gate to its original state. As in what the cell looked like before the main quest started. I just dont want to continue playing the main quest and then all of a sudden run across some random spike sticking out of the ground. Any help?
  16. excuse my spelling typing from iphone. anyway i am looking for a mod that renders the pc or npc aswell as holding the offhand/ dual dagger(s) backwards or reversed. i am not sure if this mod already exists but t would be relatively simple to make by a modder with experience. the animation can just render the arm turning 90 degrees and i am pretty sure the combat animation for dual wielding would still look some what believable. if anyone knows about a mod that already exists or has interest in making one please tell me. /
