I know that, but I'm just saying I think I'd be able to play at least laggily on low settings like I have on other games i don't meet minimum reqs on. And its still weird that it crashes first thing in the same way it does for other people who do fit the bill on min reqs. Not trying to argue with you, I know my graphic card stinks.

Indeed, but I should be able to play on low quality, I still think its something else though after all the random searching I did last night. Heck I can play oblivion on rather high quality without any difficulty, a little lag in large crowds of people around town but that's about it. Even people with much better specs then I encounter this very identical problem, always on winxp though it works in their laptops or other comps with vista.

Yeah I've seen it in really old topics on other forums elsewhere as well, just thought that by now there might be a solution though. May be awhile till I get a new graphics card though.

I did that "can you run it" thing on that one site and I should be able to at least play with a little lag at low graphics. Radeon xpress 200 series 126mb ram Amd athlon 64 processor 3500+ and 1.4gigs of ram and win xp ofcourse

Nah, I don't have any mods installed, never got a chance to really. Soon as I got the game I installed it to try it out a little first and instead I encountered this problem..

My drivers are updated already.

This happened before and after I installed the 1.7 patch, I first installed the game and tried playing but as soon as I loaded up the game it came up for a few seconds..was dark and then gave me a windows error report. Then installed the patch and well...it didn't help at all. I've read suggestions all over the place but most are dated like a year old or so and don't work or links are dead. I use WinXP by the way. I've heard many people say they tested it on another computer of theirs that has Vista and it runs fine, but not for their windows XP computer and thats usually the only difference of the 2. but the answer to why is never given.

Any ideas anyone? I found a mithra race on planetelderscrolls, but it looks nothing like what I'm looking for. I found the second picture here: http://oblivion.forum.jpmod.net/viewtopic....3&f=10#p992 But I cant read a bit of japanese and the download the person links is just a face texture alone.

I run on low settings, I have 1.5gigs of ram. My graphics card is "MSI Radeon Xpress 200 series" to by the way, so says dxdiag. I reckon that kinda stinks? Thanks for the fast reply's guys!

Probably a stupid question but I'll try it anyway.. I can run oblivion ok for the most part but when I installed some clothing mods from hentai and desuchan they lag the heck out of me when I equip them, takes a bit of spam clicking to take them off. I installed the high rez skins also and whenever im..well, naked, I also lag. I admit my computers not the best but it's weird that I suffer from such lag due to some select clothing mods and stuff. Is there a way to lessen/fix it? Thanks~

Hi..I've been looking for a this mithra race for awhile and still haven't found it.. I've found screenshots and stuff but never a link to the exact download. I saw these on a Japanese twitter but am having difficulties locating which mod might have 'em if any at all..
