  1. Bump How do I replace game file textures, need to replace Bard Shoes texture with my own so that it stops overlaying onto the mesh and my texture, seems to be overlaying with SOME opacity. Can't seem to find the texture for this item as the files are all a string of numbers and there's like 10's of thousands of GTS files. Could be looking in the wrong place? (Simplified - Repacking game files not external mod and need a method for finding and replacing textures)
  2. I have given up with trying to make this into a mod and opted for replacing Karlach's Boots in the game under HUM_F_Barbarian_Karlach_Footwear with my own mesh for the DAE, FBX and GR2 files then repacking the Models PAK file into the game directory to see if it works. The best I could get with making it through the mod method was having my mesh load in-game but it had no texture and was all black. Will update if I can get it to work as a mod, if not you can consider this a dead project. This is what happens when importing to the game files https://i.imgur.com/Fqq5SCH.jpg (Won't let me imbed image to ANY image upload site so you get a link instead) I don't know how to fix the lower part of the legs being visible or allow the game to use my texture. If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know, otherwise my mesh is loading perfectly. Issue now is textures. Edit - Replaced Bard Shoes with my mesh and the issue with the legs are gone. I just need to find a way to replace the game texture for this shoe directly like I am doing for the mesh. https://i.imgur.com/B9rMIJ2.png
  3. I have .blend file .png .dds .GR2 all attached to a template BG3 armature complete with UV map and LOD's but there's no real guide on adding footwear yet or any clear way to do so as tutorials for armours tend to be overcomplicated or missing information with regard to setting up files, particularly with .lsx files which as a digital artist not a coder are a nightmare. If someone would like to continue with this project and put my Shark Slippers into BG3 feel free to comment below or DM me. I would be willing to surrender control of the project and uploading of the finished mod, as long as credit is given for my model: The model may not be altered and claimed as your own, it may be resized and the texture may be altered; but credit must be given in any capacity of use. People need this mod. For now this project will be put on hold until appropriate modding tools become available or someone takes up the opportunity to finish it.
  4. Irony is that Hogwarts Legacy is based in England, United Kingdom and here the legal age is 16 where you become a "young adult" Year 5, the year of Hogwarts Legacy in the Hogwarts fantasy is 15-16 year olds, which would be the last year of secondary school in the UK before going to college. In Harry Potter movies Hermione for example wears a revealing dress when dating an older guy called Victor Krum, when she is in Year 5 of Hogwarts. I don't understand the Nexus Mods staff doing what they're doing when they're likely not even British, trying to dictate and discriminate our fashion, our appropriate attire and our schooling. They have no right whatsoever and clearly don't understand much about people aged 16 and under over the last 30 years. TikTok is far worse than what we HAVE to wear in school for the last 3 decades and I feel like making judgements on what people should or should not wear is beyond Nexus Mods staff's "duties" in running this site, especially given the vast quantity of inappropriate content that is allowed here as shown above. I reiterate that the Yennefer outfit is in NO WAY sexualised and if they think that then something is wrong with THEM, not the mod or the girls and women like myself who like to wear things like this. It is not appropriate to try to tell someone that what they were is sexualised, that implies that you find interest in it as it makes you uncomfortable. I hope whoever keeps removing the outfit and saying it's sexualised stays far away from any schools, especially the one that my child is in.
  5. Exactly, they remove it and everyone is saying it's due to sexualisation because there are other mods with The Witcher outfits and face models so it's definitely not copyright or they would be removed also, like the Yennefer face model swap. If it's because staff are looking at boots and a couple unbuttoned buttons on the top of a shirt then I question their ethics and whether they should be allowed within 200 yards of a school because as someone who has dressed no different at this age and younger, as mandatory in schools, and with children that are in school I find this concerning that people would consider clothing my children wear to be explicit and "NSFW" I think this is the beginning of a lawsuit against Nexus Mods owner for discrimination "questionable" views on fashion. Someone is bound to do it eventually, especially with all the highlights this issue is getting across the internet, on Reddit, Steam, Twitter etc. It won't be long before someone pushes this to the mainstream media outlets. I'm not afraid to point out the obvious and air views shared by hundreds of people who are themselves afraid of repercussions. I can make a new account, they can't however make our children into something they are not and dictate what they should or should not wear when most of that made as a REQUIREMENT in schools for the past 20+ years have been far more revealing of skin than some of these outfits that are being removed. I think the issue lies in these people not being able to control THEMSELVES because we have gotten by just fine by wearing skirts above our knees and shirts that show our neck and collarbones, FROM THE AGES OF 8, without people like this looking at us as if we're sexualised or "NSFW" which I find very offensive having been one of the millions who were raised this way. They treat an outfit as inappropriate but allow this sexualised name for 7 years and even with them commenting in Hogwarts Legacy topics, therefor exposing children to their sexualised name. A name like this is allowed, referencing explicit positions and male anatomy, and yet we can't have heels on our boots or we're called NSFW. Male hypocrisy at its finest. Feel free to use all of this information for press releases.
  6. This would be awesome but it needs to be done correctly or it could break the game. For example if you die in a quest instance and get teleported to another location, it would have to cancel your quest, resetting the progress.
  7. We didn't even get a reason as to why the outfit was removed which is pretty prude and dictator-like, someone I think needs to check the fashion industry and what people are wearing these days. Boyish shirts, leather jackets and boots are hardly above the rating for the game. It was common even from the age of 8 to ditch your school tie and leave the top 2 buttons undone on your shirt to stay cool in the summer, no chest exposed just the neck like in the Yennefer outfit but they're trying to say we were exploiting ourselves at 8 years old? I disagree. As a girl who very much would have worn something like this, and did, at 12-16 I say it's appropriate. We also wore skirts far shorter than that which we see in-game, at 8 years old, above the knees. They were mandatory school uniform, widely used in the UK and likely the US as well, but apparently we're exploiting ourselves... I don't think so. There is nothing wrong with Triss's outfit at all, and anyone who says there is clearly hasn't seen the outfits in-game that match both Triss and Yennefer's overall aesthetics. - On reading more into this issue, I am quite disturbed that the staff here might be looking at my child and consider her mandatory school uniform to be explicit or NSFW and try to ban her from being anywhere but in school. Since they locked my topic I'll leave this here. Here's another example of inappropriate mod adding full beards to 15-16 year old boys https://www.nexusmods.com/hogwartslegacy/mods/586 Beards and more Posted 22nd February and still up despite inappropriately putting man beards on 15-16 year old boys (Apparently this is ok) But lore friendly and accurate SFW outfits like Yennefer's Dark Arts get removed (They claim it was by the author not them)
  8. Has anyone been given any information as to why the Yennefer Dark Arts outfit mod was removed yet? It's PG, follows content guidelines, has no viruses and fits the Dark Arts aesthetic. Is it purely because of copyright or is there some other misconception leading to its removal? I've seen other Yennefer mods like the face swap so I'm starting to think it's someone who thinks heeled boots are only for adult mods or something, which is pretty inaccurate and if it is for that reason then they should probably check up on fashion and the oxford dictionary. Any info is useful info at this point as I have tested this mod extensively and found no issues with it when uploading to YouTube and have found other outfits already in-game that are very similar in aesthetic so I'm confused why this mod is getting removed with no information given as to why. I feel like we need to go on strike against the evil dictators at this point - On reading more into this issue, I am quite disturbed that the staff here might be looking at my child and consider her mandatory school uniform to be explicit or NSFW and try to ban her from being anywhere but in school. Key factors and personal experience from being a 28 year old woman and having actually gone to school, which I think the staff here skipped out on if they think our uniforms are explicit. Boyish shirts, leather jackets and boots are hardly above the rating for the game. We wear the same skirt length from 6-7 up to 16 years old, and these people are trying to tell us they look at us and see sexualised material? That's inappropriate and I question the morality of those involved in removing this outfit. I expect a permanent ban for defending our women's rights against creepy hypocrisy and dictatorship when it comes to our uniforms and fashion choices, for which THEY are not the ones who determine what is or is not appropriate. WE ARE.
