  1. I do know about HOMEMAKER, but I don't want all that other stuff in my game, just the ability to place rocks and boulders to make some parts of my settlement more realistic.
  2. There is this mod called Settlement management software ( http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/12032/? ), that has scripts used to send out unassigned settlers, maybe one could use that to make a workplace for a settler that would run this script every day or so, ergo being the mayor who assigns ppl to make most out of your settlement.
  3. as title says, I wish to have Artillery in the DLC settlements, to rain down divine judgement on the crazy!
  4. 1st, let me say Hi :) Maybe we should think about merging our ideas and try to get a team behind it :D 2nd, if you just want taxes you can use http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9710/? It has a special Tax collector station, its great :)
  5. CIT sounds good as capitol, has some nice area, and has even room inside, kinda doomed when you finish the game :P And yes, an own faction would be the best, with you as a mission giver, not a mission mule :) Hope you will link in "Commonwealth Congress" if its in beta ;)
  6. I would love to see a Sororitas Armor set too, maybe as a real Power Armor, as it actually is.
  7. I am playing Far Harbor, and some cannibals say some stupid stuff about mirelurk or man, and the Sarcastic answer to that is Mirelurk-man! My very bad idea is to make it a real thing, an armor set or power armor set maybe that has most of the mirelurk body attached to it, as a superhero costume. Shell of the mirelurk as a back plate, the small legs as front plate, the claws as arm armor, and maybe some hatchlings as leg armor :D
  8. The basic idea is, that I need some "armor" on my power armor frame, that look like bags and containers, so I can use my power armor as a mobile base for storage while I go around in the commonwealth. Use it to go near stuff, park it, go in and loot, and then store my stuff on the frame. What I had in mind: no armor value, its made of fabric mostly after all, maybe no sprint, so it reflects the weight that the frame is carrying,
  9. I have a mad idea, that would need the help (work) of many moders I think, or one really good one. So, in most Fallout games, the city state version of government is used, as there are problems with communication and travel, but not in NCR territories, they build a working government, so my main question is, why wont any other region do the same? And this brings me to my idea... The newly formed "Commonwealth Republic" (name pending). We are basically building a military power in the main mission, so why not grow on this idea and unite the settlements? Why not use the power that the people have and forge a nation out of it? There could be more versions to this, depending on the faction that you like the best, you could build a totally democratic nation, or a dictatorship. I know this sounds a bit to big of a project, so I made some steps that could be a guide for the project. They are things that I think would be a must have to make a nation work in fallout setting, its not a full list, so I am open for suggestions. Most of the stuff on the list would be quests or stuff that are a must have trigger event for this to become a reality. Gather military power: something like have min 5 settlement with 50 defense each, or some similar trigger event that one could achieve.Make a Capital: one of the main quest giver NPC would ask the player where to make the capital, depending on the factions and preferences it could be: Diamond City, Sanctuary, The Castle, Boston Airport, Goodneighbor, Bunker Hill (Institute version too). Most of this places made into a settlement if they are not already, or make them big enough to be usable. Also maybe a mod to make the settlement limit grow up to 100+Make trade routes and defend them: no Nation can survive without an infrastructure, so I think there could be a quest to go on escort/build type of missions along trade routes, and build outposts where the faction of the players choosing would patrol. And by doing this maybe bring some more needed life into the roads, and a bit more safety. Also maybe upgrade the caravans, as only 1-2 brahmin going on a supply run is not very productive, maybe upgrade them with carts and then use some tech skills and restore some of the cars.Make the Capital great!: most of the stuff mentioned already is in the game to some extend, but from here on comes the main problem, the Capital should focus more on the growth of its people, build schools and infrasruture for more then the basic survival! Quests to restore the water system (similar like the quest with the robot settlement, but in a grand scale!), make a working powerline system, make a working factory system for the settlers to make items, sell them, and to grow as individuals, maybe make an alternative recuitment script that is better and faster then the radio recuitment.Clear out the Raiders for good: well, where is the fun in that you may ask? but what if I told you, that clearing a raider group out permanently could make the others do a similar step as the player is doing, so uniting the forces and escalating to a war between the new nation and the ever growing raider horde. So maybe every raider group destroyed would make the raider army somewhat bigger, and they would go to a new camp made by them from where they would try to storm the new nation from time to time.Enemies and Terrorism: There is no nation that has no enemies, so as the player would grow with its nation, the other factions out of greed or fear would turn on the player, maybe even go on an all out war on it, just like the last part of the Minuteman questline. And if the player cleared out the main enemy group, the remaining soldiers of the faction destroyed would try to do sabbotage and terror attacks, so they would still be quests to defend the nation even if all the enemies are crushed. And for last some extending on the army part: Sub generals, people you could manage to do your job, when Preston tells you that a settlement is under attack, you go to your sub general and tell him, and the quest is done. There are many crashed vertibirds out there in the map, so why not salvage them? I know there are mods, like the Minuteman overhaul that makes it possible to craft some vertibirds, but this would be quests and the reward would be free vertibirds in the capital, maybe even more vertibird patrols or something like that. Special infrastructure missions for the upkeep of the army, like oil and nuclear material hunts, similar to the infinite tech salvage missions of the brotherhood. I know my idea is a bit big, so I don't really except anyone to make it happen, but if some parts of my idea are already done, or you read my idea and make some part of it as a mod, do link in here please! I do except replies, as I think many of the builder peoples would think my idea is not totally bullc**p. :D (And sry if I made spelling mistake, I am not English)
  10. I see why you would think that the 2nd option is better, but do remember that most of Boston was not hit directly, so only radiation and mild damage were done to the buildings. BUT, even if I say that, its a nice idea, maybe do some half destroyed buildings and make quests to rebuild them to gain a player house or something like that. :)
  11. thx  maybe one more idea, maybe make an "Artillery Mine" for me plz?
  12. so, I have a very basic sounding mod request: I want to use the Flare gun to shoot Artillery Flare, and use the Minutman flare as a granate. nothing more, nothing less :)
