Thank you baduk for replying but unfortunately that wont work as it's one single mesh though (newbie question) wouldn't it be better to delete the whole branch?. I probably should clarified a bit more that I know how to use nifskope (at lest a little bit) but when it comes to editing a mesh with modeling software like blender and 3Dmax that's where I have no experience not for a lack of trying as I could never get blender to work and can't afford 3Dmax sorry for the confusion

Please bare in mind while reading this that I have no experience modeling so I know nothing when it comes to this. All I want to do is remove the bicep piece of this armor for my own personal use the part is form Cross pre-war Cybernetics http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/8609/? That's all I want but for the life of me I can't find out how to I don't care if it's gone or just invisible I just want it to not show ingame. Can someone please help me please?

Can some one please help me with this issue so let me explain form the beginning I'm no stranger to making follower (the basic kind) in fact for most of my playthroughs I've made custom followers for that character and its never give me issues until recently when I decided to buy hearthfire after that I remade some of my old followers and my house (old one get dated and I had to start fresh because the old mod messed up a few vanilla areas) and when I started up skyrim I noticed that my followers "follower" (wait here, open inventory, and dismiss) dialog was missing although the "I need you to do something" option and the dialog options from UFO. At first I thought it was just that one follower but I checked my others and there dialog was missing to. So I checked some vanilla followers and they work just fine I've try everything I can think of and it didn't work I've turned of hearthfire, my mod, and even UFO can someone please help

Yeah I should have given an example I do in fact have UFO installed what I mean is switching the outfit like between "ExampleOutfitFull" and "ExampleOutfitNoHelmet" through dialog like "you should take off your helmet" and "put your helmet on" but thanks for the help anyway

So I've been been making some followers and I've always wanted to know if and how to do a few things so can someone tell me if its Can you make a follower change outfits via in-game dialog? Can you lock a followers equipment (so I don't have to worry about my follower equipping a hat or shield when I don't want them to) and Can I have a follower change weapons via dialog like new vegas It would be awesome if someone could tell me how to do anyone of them but if you just tell me if it's possible or not that's ok too

That's the thing I don't have scripts for them (and any attempts usually get deleted out of anger) and can't find and/or use the vanilla scripts with them and I usually uninstall it for most major updates. never tried coc'ing from the main menu though

you must have much better luck then me because that never works for me as for blender i hate the old versions controllers.

I've be modding for all most a year now and the problem I've encountered the most is this in nifskope and i never could find out how to get a round it. So if anyone knows want to do or can link me to a thread on how to fix it can you please help me

So I was making me a kick-ass ninja follower and i wanted to give her both a mask and a circlet but they both take the circlet slot. So I thought to my self "ok I'll just change the mask to take a different slot" and the mask is invisible or something I start up the game and it says shes wearing it so I try it viceversa and i get the same effect. I don't think its a bug because I try it on other things and I can just combine the meshes but I'd like to know how to fix the problem other than work around it

i fell like an idiot for asking but where is it I can't seem to find it is it the render window? because i found something but if I delete it. it removes everything (it seems like every time i post the stupider i feel)
