Question about Bashed Patch
vitalsine replied to vitalsine's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
UPDATE: This is weird as hell... I turned off New Vegas Bounties, now I am getting MCM popups when I launch the game. I can't even get to the main menu... GRAHH!!!! I also reinstalled the game and all mods... What a headache. 70 hours into a playthrough... lol. Welp this is a new one. I just disabled my bashed patch and re-enabled all my mods in their correct load order, and now when I start up my game I get a pop-up for New Vegas Bounties, and I can't get off of it. Hoping I don't have to reinstall the game and 160 mods I have installed. lol... -
Question about Bashed Patch
vitalsine replied to vitalsine's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
I have confirmed that the FOOK-ADAM CP and FOOK-Cabal CP don't work with bashed patch... They are both listed as Non-Active... doh! Weird. Not sure why it says in the tooltip at the bottom that it is "Merged into Bashed Patch." when it definitely isn't. I guess I have some experimenting to do! Any help is still appreciated, thanks! -
Hey guys, I am in Wyre Flash trying to create a bashed patch and am running into what I think is an issue? When I build the patch, it deactivates all the mods that it is merging, then after patch creation some of the mods say "merged" and some say "non-active". Is it merging the mods that say that or is it just disabling those? I haven't really noticed any big issues in game, but after rebuilding the patch this last time I am just noticing this. If someone can confirm my suspicions that would be great, and I can go in and reactivate the mods that say inactive, and keep the merged ones unchecked. Haven't noticed this issue in the past and I have been using Wyre Bash for a while. Maybe I just overlooked it in the past. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7418/12445810913_3c647b96d4_o.jpg Thanks, Vital

Hey guys, I have been having some crashes, not related to mod issues, at least I don't think. I am pretty sure the crashes are memory related. I am running an ENB/SweetFX combo on the fnv4gb_nvse launcher with fake fullscreen (not gamecompanion, doesn't quite work for me). I am running 16gb of ram so memory shouldn't be an issue. I have been having the occasional crash the whole time, but now more than ever. I really want to cut the number down to 1 every few hours. If anyone sees anything that they know is a conflict, or I have a patch that I don't need let me know. (Like all those CFW patches...) I appreciate all the help. I am trying a master update and a new merged patch now. I have all the usual ini edits in place as well. Also, do I need the Caliber and Case mods with Fook/PN or is that already in there? Don't want to have any mods that I don't need. Maybe cutting them down will help the game. It's really choppy when I first open it, assuming cause it has to load so many files lol. Other than that I run like 45-60 fps. (capped at 60) Thanks!!

ENB/SweetFX Issues
vitalsine replied to vitalsine's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
lol DOH! I think I missed your first reply haha. Thanks a million Sari. The game looks so freakin amazing! -
UPDATE: I solved the problem just a few minutes ago. When I was coming up on the Nevada State Highway Patrol, I was getting the crash. I did a search of SLNHPStationINT in FNVEdit and it was in 9 of the mods I have in my load order. Went through them one by one to find out that it was MMUE. Anyway, I think I might have had too many patches enabled. I disabled the WMXUE-EVE and EVE patches since I have Convergence level 2 patch, and I also disabled the normal NV Interiors patch and used the NV AWOP one only. Even after that, I had to disable my merged patch as well. I haven't checked if the game works with the merged patch disabled and the others enabled. First I am going to try building a new merged patch based off this load order. I would bash patch it too but I cant merge anything, load order is too touchy. I will post results. Thanks anyways guys! Hope this helps someone. UPDATE Rebuilt my merged patch and everything works great now. Still have those few patches disabled and no conflicts yet. --

ENB/SweetFX Issues
vitalsine replied to vitalsine's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
I am having one new issue now. The windows at the Goodsprings School are flickering, kinda weird. I toggled ENB and SweetFX and they dont seem to be the problem, but I have never noticed it till now lol. Here are a couple screenshots of the flickering, and a pic of the Docs hair... https://www.dropbox.com/s/d93vnhrvdrlapz8/Sweet.jpg https://www.dropbox.com/s/fcy5hvkactf13yq/Weird%20Black%20Hair%20on%20Doc%20Mitchell%20ENB.jpg https://www.dropbox.com/s/el2bhstx4xuyi6o/Flickering%20Windows%201.jpg https://www.dropbox.com/s/fzj9iyylee5ymen/Flickering%20Windows%202.jpg Also, it seems that my gun only goes semi-transparent when I am aiming down the ironsights. I guess I can live with that for now until I find a way to use a newer ENB. -
ENB/SweetFX Issues
vitalsine replied to vitalsine's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
Yes! I got it working! Here is my setup... I HAVE to use ENB v173. Maybe its because I have an AMD/ATI card? I toggled ForceNvidiaCard (not really sure if that helped). I am using the 4gb loader in which you have to put the exe and dll files in the exe folder. My setup is like... ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas ... has all the default files, no dlls, no nvse, no nothing. Just what was originally installed with the game. ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\4GB ... has the fnv4gb.exe and fnv4gb_helper.dll and there is the source folder and a folder called exes ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\4GB\exes ... this is where I installed NVSE, the ENB and everything else. Make sure you also move both the FalloutNV.exe and launcher to this folder too. Anyway, that is my setup. I actually referred to your thread and instead of fixing the texture it fixed sweetfx. Someone made a post about having to use only 173 with ATI/AMD, not sure if it was even related to sweetfx. Gave it a whirl and it works. Hopefully I dont experience any transparent guns. Thatd stink. Until I find a workaround for a newer ENB I will be stuck with this. Looks amazing though. -
ENB/SweetFX Issues
vitalsine replied to vitalsine's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
Thanks for the reply Sari! Anyway... I guess I can live with the hair mesh thing. I don't believe Doc's hair is a texture issue, it is just when looking at him from certain angles, his hair can appear black on the right side of his head and its white on the other. If I move around to the side where it was just black, now its white. lol. It's like a weird shine of some sort. The texture itself is fine. Here is where I stand now. I downgraded to the v194 ENB that Shrutesh says to install, and voila! SweetFX works when loaded up. Only problem is, there is this major delay first, when I open the game. Menus work fine, just takes a minute. But as soon as my game loads up, my video adapter farts out and screen goes black. When it comes back I have to bring up the process manager to close the game. Weird. I have tried running the game with and without the 4gb launcher. Using multiple methods. I have all the appropriate files in the exes folder, I have some other 4gb launcher in the root that also works, and I have tried with just NVSE and all of them have the same results. When I go to load my game, it takes a while, then video adapter screws up, black screen... I am running a Radeon HD 7970, not OC'd. I edited a few ini values a while back that were related to memory. Is there any chance that those might have something to do with the current issue? I am looking for a solution now... really wanna figure this out!!! -
Hey everyone! I have been going at this now for a couple days. Just got everything running pretty seamlessly and now I want to focus on polishing my ENB and SweetFX settings. I am using a slightly modified version of "The ENB of the Apocalypse - New Vegas" by Shrutesh. I am running the ENB v249 d3d9.dll (newest), because I was experiencing problems with some of the older versions (like transparent weapon etc). First I would like to talk about SweetFX. By default, SweetFX should be enabled with this ENB preset, but when my game loads up, and I hit scroll lock, there are no changes. When I hit Print Screen it also saves the SS with the prefix ENB, so I am assuming the ENB is taking the picture, not SweetFX. This leads me to believe that SweetFX is disabled. (I've only ever used ENB, never a combo.) I have tried launching the game two ways. Firstly, I use the 4gb launcher. I have all the .exe and .dll files (ENB and SweetFX files) in the "exes" folder... I get ENB to run, but no SweetFX. I have tried by just launching NVSE, and no luck. ENB but no SweetFX. I've tried both the wrapper and injector versions of ENB. I would really like to get SweetFX working so that I can bring my game to the next level. Still running very smooth without it, 100+fps with ENB activated. Here are some screenshots... https://www.dropbox.com/sh/d0o1dabmanix1ww/mrEPFe-AjF?lst One thing that has been really bugging me is this weird hair bug with ENB. The DOF looks amazing, but when you look at an NPCs hair, sometimes the DOF is disabled around it, almost creating an outline of the characters head. I think most of you know what I mean. I am pretty sure there is no way to disable it, but with my current setup it is terrible, especially on Summer Smiles. Check the link above for pictures. Another issue I am having is that some of the NPCs are almost orange on the interiors. One example is Chet, I took a picture of him so that you guys could check it out. I am going to take one of Trudy in the Saloon because she is by far the worste. If anyone has any info on any of these problems, I would really appreciate it. First on my list is getting SweetFX working though. Here is my load order, in case it helps... Clipping Bug at Rivet City

Clipping Bug at Rivet City
vitalsine replied to vitalsine's topic in Fallout 3's Mod Troubleshooting
Welp, that was easy. It was DC Interiors... I wonder why? Anyone know of a fix? or maybe I am using an old version? NMM says that it needs an update, but I am sure that I downloaded the most recent one. It looked like that mod added some shops and other cool stuff to the game, was hoping to enjoy it. Oh wellz :( -
Hey guys, I just arrived to Rivet City, still in the Capital Wasteland. I am trying to get up on the platform where you would use the intercom, but I am clipping through everything! Never experienced this problem yet, so it is unique to this location, so far. If I walk back a bit near the super mutant camp, everything is fine, no clipping, it only seems to be up by the platform. I can walk through everything, debris, walls, rocks, platform... I am going to try to disable some mods and diagnose the problem. I tried loading and saving and quick traveling, none of those worked. My uGridstoload is 9, not sure if that would affect this. Skyrim CTD with no error while playing ,mod issue?
vitalsine replied to Se7enSinz's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I managed to fix the problem on my computer. I used http://skyrim.nexusm...file.php?id=89. What I did was I activated the 1 day re-spawn mod first, turned off all autosaving on my settings, then slept for 2 days. Only needed one but I did two to be safe. After that I saved and exited the game. Then I installed http://skyrim.nexusm...ile.php?id=4528 to try and keep my save from building up again. Doing that re-spawn thing dropped my save a few hundred KB right away, so it defiantly cleared some stuff out. Since then I have not crashed once, and have actually noticed the game is a bit smoother with these mods activated. Faster re-spawn on cells, and possessive corpses cleans up the messes. Hope this works for you and anyone else having this issue.
