  1. Yes, i could download manually if i used a vpn. I just used one of those browser based free vpns. I'll probably ditch it once this situation is fixed. Do you guys know the best way to talk to indihome about the CDN issue? I think their customer service people might not understand. I will try to post on their facebk page and use their webpage ' contact us form' if we can all do that we might get them to fix it, im sure it can probably be resolved quite quickly.
  2. RakuzO, you are also using IndiHome? I am having same issue. Do you know where i can report it to the IndiHome most effectively? they dont have a good reputation with customer service, And i dont think i could explain the issue clearly in broken Bahasa. update: as of 830pm 4/10 i still cant use the vortex download option on the website but now downloading manual works ok (yesterday it didnt)
  3. Great read, thanks guys. I'm really happy Pickysaurus is on the team. Too often modders work alone and sometimes that leads to issues when big dreams meet the reality of making and maintaining a large mod, Picky is an excellent community organizer and I am looking forward to seeing what Picky and Bigbizkit can do to encourage some more cooperation between modders and hopefully leading to large scale mod projects,
  4. As always more than fair. Have we had a 2018 State of the Union yet? I love them
  5. I'm in. Thanks for your community building effort.
  6. All these great mod focused companies, nice one kcd.
  7. I think I would be more keen on hearing from mod authors who make systems rather than visual/texture mods. So my votes goes to EnaiSiaion, kryptopyr and Ogerboss.
  8. In response to post #31549730. +1. Nothing more to say really, just wanted to repeat what Dredd3110 said.
  9. Welcome Dave. I was wondering about your opinion on something that surprised me. From Robin's postings we can see that the effective Game company to nexus relationship is kind of ..... well actually extremely limited. I was pretty surprised that Bethesda community manager doesn't reach out to this community in anyway (But understandable if you are cynical). I know that the Nexus would like to keep an arms length from game makers so as to represent modders and not get tangled up in any legal issues/promo work for said company and remain neutral. However it seems the relationship is roughly equal to what any one of us might have with Bethesda, to my mind that seems wrong (and a bit unfair to Robin who has put so much work into the Nexus). I am not talking about just Bethesda here. What would you say to a more robust Nexus that reached out to new indie developers, offering help/promotion/access to the community in return for making sure modding tools were available ? I know that your job is focused on the community side but its something to think about. Cheers.
  10. Probably a controversial idea- downgrade the free Nexus a bit and push more people to the Premium Nexus (probably with a price cut - say $10 for 1 year, $20 for 3 years) then the Nexus pays popular mod authors based on popularity. As for what downgrading the free nexus actually means, hmm Bandwidth slowing doesn't seem to be much of an incentive - especially with a lot of mods being quite small size, so how about limiting posts, limiting mods to one a day, putting ads also on the supporter Nexus or ... well now that I write them they don't really seem like good ideas, but mod authors who make good (and popular) mods with clear instructions and are active in their own mod post/forum pages should be rewarded.
  11. I think it has to do with waiting until the ps4 and xbob one have a large user base because they will not bother making ps3 and xbox360 versions of fallout 4
  12. One patch. The number of people still playing Skyrim now and who didnt grab the dlc in the various sales for 50% or 75% must be pretty small. Most recent Unofficial skyrim patch unique downloads on nexus is 30893, dawnguard is 29673! that's 96% percent, udp is at 25995, that's 83%.
