class and birthsign are gone but this isnt a bad thing .. as most oblivion fans know that if you really want to be a badass you just make a reverse character build so you level slowly then build up your minor skills as if they were your major skills .. this change does away with that and makes it easier to change your play style after you start .. its still a class based game but you dont have a starting class .. your class is defined by how you play .. as far as birth signs? .. I don't care one bit .. instead they allow you to choose star signs whenever you want .. they are located around the world in the form of stones that you can activate. This is a good change

thats the whole point of an RPG .. the character has skills not you .. thats the fun of leveling .. Actions games and shooters are about your skills.. RPGs are about your dedication to your character's skills.

I'm just saying that the distructoid host sucks and is easily the most anti tes reviewer out there .. hes just sucking it up and forcing himself to be nice in this interview. in one preview someone discribed a house owner starting a fight over him stealing .. the fight was just a brawl and then he pulled out a sword and it turned into a real battle .. so you might be able to fight without killing or getting into big trouble so long as you dont pull out your sword.

He asked for our input in the forum and took notes on what has been reported already vs what would be new info... he was also the first to find vampires in the game if I'm not mistaken? .. I can't remember.. plus hes just good at expressing the feeling of playing TES.

the host is an ass .. hes never played a TES game in his life and even said in an interview he has been making jokes about it just to get on the fans nerves .. but when he wrote the preview he started to realize how big the fan base is and how serious a lot of us take it then quickly changed his tune .. it was sorta a funny preview too .. Think when most people say "hardcore mode" they think NV and having to eat, sleep, drink so on .. difficulty wasn't part of the deal .. just annoying things that made it more immersive .. Difficulty where enemies can be as powerful as you could very well be in the game when the slider is cranked up.

Hmm... by definition? You mean like, cuz real life doesn't have theme music it breaks immersion? I disagree, bad music can surely break immersion as it makes you think about just how bad it is, which brings you out of the game. However, a good soundtrack that matches and reinforces what happens on the screen can severely enhance immersion. I mean it's personal of course, some people feel more immersed without music, but breaks immersion by definition...? No no. EDIT: As for the topic... **** yeah I'll have the music on. It's Jeremy Soule man, heresy to mute that stuff :D All of this ^ Edit: I did install a mod for extra music after my 40th playthrough though xD

the stormcloaks and the ability to join them makes me think there will be more interaction between stories and quests .. but this is a lot of hard work for the Devs and Writers and I personally would rather have them working on the finer details .. but thats just me

wanna trade? :P lol.. the 460 is better than the 550 by a bit .. and about the same price (or was when I got my 550 back in jan) .. The only reason I didn't get a 460 instead of my 550 was because the 460 required a bigger PSU and I didn't have the money.. so yea .. yours is a bit better. "Why build your own console when you can just get Xbox or PlayStation to do it for you" and do a shitty job on it .. ripping you off on something that does less and performs poorly .. I own a console but if you have 700 bucks and want a nice PC I can tell you without a doubt you will get a better deal spending that on a PC than a console. For the record I am a PC gamer. Not sure if that was clear up there. Was mostly trying to prove how lazy todays youth are. I got ya .. just clearing up the slightly hard to detect sarcasm ^_^
