Great interview and thanks for giving the advice on where to start when getting into modding... I know nothing about merging plugins or chains of records... So just having someone say where they started and what helped them understand things is a HUGE help... Watching YT vids and reading tutorials till your blue in the face is awesome, but hands on experience through trial and error is always a winner... So having seasoned modders tell ya a good starting point for that hands on stuff really helps... Thanks!!!

Im a complete noob but what I do is download files manually to a folder I made and named ManualModsF4 in my Documents folder... Then when I use the green plus sign in NMM to "Add Mod From File" I just go straight to where all my manually downloaded mods are... This has worked flawlessly for me except on a couple of armor/clothing mods that specify you to copy and paste their content directly into the data folder... I'm Still to much of a noob to take the plunge to directly copy and paste stuff from mods, but that is quickly changing :smile: I have my puter set up to always ask me where to save files too... That makes it easy without using the massive categories section in NMM... I also add subfolders to my ManualModsF4 folder to keep stuff organized - IE: Armor Mods, Settlement Mods, Follower Mods etc...
