  1. sounds like a corrupted game save. try killing yourself in game to let the game reload your save, and then try saving.

if that doesnt work, go back and find a save that does work and go from there.

i also reccomend the use of an autosave manager, and MasterUpdate via FO3Edit

  2. if it was a missing master, it wouldve CTDd straightaway. have you tried verifying the integrity of the game cache??

as a side note: load order probably isnt helping much either. set it so that your .ESMs are loaded before your .ESPs. should alleviate some crashing

  3. FOMM can install regular mods as well, not just FOMODs. copy and paste the error report to FOMM's comment and/or bug thread, and see if Timeslip/Kaburke or anybody else can help you
  4. ok. in the data folder, try looking in the "Compatibility Files" folder in the 2nd tool bar from the top (the toolbar that has organize, views, explore, etc)

off topic: just found a few files from 2008 in mine (o_O)

  5. the dlcs are out of order (should be: anchorage, pitt,

broken steel, point lookout, zeta). youre also missing fook2 - (dik) dlc improvement kit

probably not the root cause, but it might help. and like rampage said, the movie will play no matter what

  6. go to rivet city and see if catherine is there. if she is, talk to her and it'll start the quest. FOOK2 has delayed the annoying spam messages that pop up when a DLC is loaded for the first time. alternatively, you can force start point lookout through the FOOK2 menu

  7. find the nvse_loader. exe, right click on it, and move your cursor down to "send to" and select "desktop (create shortcut)".

once you have the shortcut on your desktop, right click on it and select "properties".

the shortcut tab should be selected by default, and this is where, you add the -editor

find the textbox next to "target" (should be middle of the shortcut tab), and at the very end of that file path in the textbox, type in -editor outside the closing ". click ok. you can now use nvse with the geck
