Going back to level 4 from level 54 and losing 200+ gaming hours isn't an option. I'll try the setstage options and verifying the cache. You're right, spawning the dragon didn't help. I'm beginning to think I'm just screwed. Maybe Diablo III will have to occupy my time.

Unfortunately, no luck. I can get her in Dragonreach, but she won't initiate the quest. I can speak to her, but she won't tell me about the dragon. Do I need to go to the western tower and spawn the dragon?

I was finally able to respawn Ilireth using player.placeatme ooo13bb8 but no dialogue about the dragon. I even respawned her at the western tower with no luck. Should I spawn the dragon at the tower?

tried prid, but nothing happened How do I click on her in the console? ANd can you walk me through the disable/enable procedure you talked about? I'm thinking she must be dead somewhere.

used 10 13 and 20. They may not have worked because I also used resetquest MQ104. Every time I try to speak to the Jaarl, he says not until this dragon problem is taken care of. Ilireth is nowhere to be found. Do I need to respawn her maybe?

I tried setstage MQ104 and setstage MQ104 190 but neither worked.

I am using mods, but one thing I tried was disabling them all and reloading the game - didn't work. Also, have most current updates. MY journal has me still working on the Message to Whitrun quest. I have delivered the axe, buit my open part of the quest tells me to Assist the Jaarl with the Dragon Threat.

After achieving level 54, I thought it was bizarre that I had not encountered a dragon yet. After a little research I discovered you need to kill the dragon fromthe Jaarl in Dragonsreach. However, after completing Bleak Falls and giving the stone to the mage, Ilireth (or a scout) never came in to tell me about the dragon to kill in the western tower. The quest never started in my journal and when I talk to the Jaarl, he says he's waiting for the dragon problem to be resolved. Ilireth is nowhere to be seen in the castle or at the western tower. Being level 54, I definitely don't plan on restarting. Any suggestions?
