  1. At one point i remember if i wanted to turn an item (or anything that had a .nif really) into a static object all i had to do was: Go to the Item (in the CK editor) > Copy its file path > Create a new object > Paste it in the file path now every time i do this (and it doesn't matter with what) it returns with "Invalid directory". i really don't want to unpack the entire BSA just to pick out a handful of things.
  2. i ended up shifting some stuff around slightly and still retained the look i was going for, its a real shame that there isnt some general mod that includes a laundry list of QoL changes like that "dynamic Height" feature in the mod you linked that would be fan-friggin-tastic.
  3. so ive discovered a glaring issue: the player is apparently equally as tall crouching as they are standing because... bethesda. a result of this is pic related. i need a way to disable collisions on certain meshes and was wondering if there was a way to do that within the CK or if there is a mod that reduces the collision of the player while crouching.

  5. after further testing (Disabling ALL mods) the flashing continued)... strange. Edit: fresh reinstall "solved" the issuse as i couldnt reproduce it, likely somthing changed in an INI file or somthing. ive wrestled with a few "stutter remover"s and "4gb patches" some of which needed ini tweaks or changes to the executable which may or may not have been the cause.
