  1. can someone create a quest that let you build your own soul cairn entrance ? i am asking this because we are forced to do the dawnguard quest in order to access the soul cairn and i'd like an alternative lore friendly way to access it. the quest should be something like this : 1 you randomly find a a journal when you kill a necromancer, since we know what are the ingredients necessary to open the portal { i think that is possiblle to replace valerica's blood with a random vampire blood } it should not be difficult to create a quest 2 after you read the journal you need to collect the ingredient in different necromancer's dungeons and find a spell tome that let you transfer part of your soul in a soul gem 3 after you collect the ingredients and the spell you have to build the portal maybe using heartfire's mechanics 4 after you enter the soul cairn recover the soul gem like during the dawnguard quest or enter as a vampire.

  11. for generic NPCs the best mods are populated lands, roads, paths https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/73148/ and travellers of skyrim https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/15501 i dont recommend adventurers and travellers, some users reported bugs and unstability, i had the same problems. if you have a weak PC dont use more than 2 mods that add NPCs, i used inconseguential NpCs and interesting NPCs, populated lands roads paths and my PC lost performance, so be careful.
  12. i remember a mod that adds polearm and phalanx with animations. it is like true spears combat but it is a polearm or phalanx version.
  13. i like the idea : with one character you can play as a dragonborn and do the main quest. with a second character you can play as a non-dragonborn and role play as a character that arrived in skyrim after the main events. zombie1boy the idea is good but i am not a modder, sorry.

  16. i want to play a character thet arriver after skyrim's main events. so i ask : give markarth to stormcloaks and riften to imperials ( you arrive after season unending ). unlock the tale of the tongue song for bards ( normally you unlock this song after the main quest ). remove the hermeus mora's quest and septimus signus ( the last dragonborn did this quest, not you ). disable shady sam, remove ralof and hadvar from the cave, remove the start of the main quest when you reach helgen ( using alternate start you start the main quest near helgen, so i want to disable it ). the chance to join the dawnguard when gunmar, sorine and florentius are already arrived, ( i want to play as a generic dawnguard without doing the main quest and i am assuming that the downguard won ), this requires to change some dialogues. go to solstheim after the main events ( this requires to change some dialogues ). i know about in your shadow, and skyrim unbound but these mods don't do what i am asking.

  23. can someone make a mod that adds a knock down effect for power attacks for big creatures ? i know that there are mods that do this but : ultimate dragons change the combat system too drastically. realistic impacts covers only mammoth and dragons. animal tweeks covers only animals. skyTEST harder creatures adds other features that i dont like. (it change the creatures' size ). i am asking a simple mod that adds only a knock down power attack effect for all big creatures nothing else.
