  1. Hey, has anoyone played Fable 1 and/or 2? I love these games just as much as I love Oblivion, and while I don't think mixing plots would be a good idea, it would be AMAZING if we could have a few companion mods of some of the main characters. Here's a list of characters, as well as some pictures of them to help you all out. 1. Reaver, the Pirate Lord & Hero of Skill. He is my absolute favorite, and I'd really like to have him done, at least. :> http://media.giantbomb.com/uploads/0/30/659300-reaver_super.jpg ((Oh, btw, he also carries a rapier, but he favors his pistol. He only uses his sword when an enemy comes too close or hits him. Then it's right back to the Dragonstomper .48.)) 2. Jack of Blades. My second favorite. I do believe someone has requested his outfit, but I want him as a companion instead. :3 It'd be more fun, I think. http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p263/BcRkoe/jackofblades.jpg 3. Hammer, the Hero of Strength. She's another of my favorites, simply because she's sassy but can be very sweet. http://fable.neoseeker.com/w/i/fable/thumb/f/fa/Hammer.jpg/300px-Hammer.jpg ((The only difference here is that she's got fiery red dredlocks, not black curls.)) 4. Garth, the Hero of Will. Meh. I don't really like him as much as the others, but since the other two hero's are on the list, I figured I might as well throw him in, too. The set wouldn't be complete without him. :) Besides, he's still pretty cool. Just not as cool as Hammer, Jack, or Reaver. http://media.giantbomb.com/uploads/1/12286/765800-fable2_artwork2_large.jpg I would also ask for Theresa, but she's already been suggested, and I've yet to check to see if a mod of her has already been made. Anyway, the main one I want is Reaver, but the others would be cool to have as well. :) It would also really help if you've played the games so that you know these characters and their personalities (because, boy, they've all got a lot of personality...). If you haven't and you don't want to go out and buy an Xbox just to play them for a mod (I wouldn't blame you), I would suggest looking up vids of them on youtube. Might give you an idea of what they're like. Thank you to anyone who decides to give this suggestion the time of day. :) I know there are a lot out there and it's quite a bit to wade through, so your picking this up is greatly appreciated~!
  2. O_o Oh... I didn't know that. Shows how new I am to this, I guess. Alright, so voice actors, then. Like I said, I'd be willing to do female voices--doesn't matter which character.
  3. Cool! :) Oh, question: do you think that as far as dialog goes, the voices from the anime should be used? I mean, like whoever decides to mod this would take sound bytes from the show and use that in the dialog? Or should new voice actors be recruited via the forums? What would be easier, do you guys think? I'd be willing to do a few voices (female would probably be best, as I am a girl), if the need should arise. Wow, this mod is going to be HUGE if someone actually does undertake to make it happen... If the modder needs any kind of help at all, I'm more than willing. I may not be much of a help, but I'll do what I can.
  4. What is a dwemer, exactly? And what do they have to do with guns? I'm not sure I follow... Ah! So there can be guns in Oblivion. I wasn't sure. :) And these bases will probably help quite a bit. Are you a modder?
  5. I'm just going with what the story line in Hellsing suggests: they do reference back to Stoker's novel in the beginning of one of the OVAs (#4, I believe?), so I just inferred what the original plot would have been like. :) And perhaps we could gain the anime costumes after the first half of the story line? If we do jump ahead, then it would make sense for a costume change. As far as not being able to get back to Tamriel, the idea doesn't sit well with me. I like Oblivion for what it is. But if you mean just during the initial quest, then sure, that'd be okay. I don't know if you can replace swords with working guns--at least, not in the traditional sense. But I could be wrong, as I'm not a modder. And perhaps to help with computers that have a lot of lag, you can pick and choose who you want to follow you in, or just run in on your own. Like, you could have a "wait" option, where you just tell the other characters to stay behind. That way you don't have to worry about having six guys follow you into a dungeon. :) It certainly would make things easier for everyone else, too, since it's incredibly annoying when you're trying to slash at a baddie and your partner gets in the way. =_=; That's happened one too many times with me.
  6. Thanks, guys. :) Nice to know that there is some support for this idea. Anyway, while I was at school, I came up with a plot idea that's sort of based on one that was in the forum I supplied: You are travelling along, passing the Barren Caves (must be at night), when you see a man struggling to fight off a few vampires. Should you choose to help him out, he will reveal himself to be Prof. Abraham Van Hellsing, and he would like to recruit you as a fellow vampire hunter. You agree, of course, and then Hellsing asks that you meet him somewhere secret (don't know where. Probably in a house in the Imperial City, or something). When you arrive there, you find that there are several other people: five men, including Hellsing, and one woman. They introduce themselves as the characters from Bram Stoker's novel: that would be Johnathan and Mina Harker, Arthur Holmwood, Quincy P. Morris, Dr. John Seward, and of course Hellsing himself. They tell you the story of how they came to hunting vampires; namely one vampire, Count Dracula. You agree to help them, and proceed to a seemingly abandoned castle, where you face off with the Count and his three wives. However, unlike in the novel, Dracula does not die. Instead, Hellsing agrees to spare him so long as the vampire serves his family until the end of time. Dracula hesitantly accepts, having no other choice except death, and he becomes Alucard. I'm not sure how we would incorporate the modern day Hellsing organization, or their enemies, unless the plot continues somehow. Like, there is a fastforward in time, or something. Or, perhaps after another mission or two, Hellsing dies, and you take up the mantel and agree to take Alucard to Hellsing's son, or whatever. Or Alucard remains your constant companion. I dunno. It's just a thought. :)
  7. Hi, everyone! :3 I'm a huge fan of Hellsing (Alucard... mmm....) and I really would like to have a mod based off of it. Perhaps even with a plot? I looked up a whole bunch of things concerning the anime, and got nothing. The only Alucard people seem to make mods for is the one from Castlevania (who is cool, but not as awesome as the Hellsing vampire). So I decided someone would have to make one for Hellsing instead. The problem is, I can't mod. So would anyone who's a skilled modder mind taking up the challenge? We can brainstorm ideas here, if you like. I have seen a few forums both on and off tesnexus that had a few good ideas, but had no idea of how to realize their dream mod. The best bet, I thought, would be to come here and request it, hoping that someone would pick it up. Here's a URL to the forum I found. Maybe it will be helpful: http://thenexusforums.com/index.php?showtopic=60306. (For those of you who don't know what Hellsing is, it is a manga and an anime (watch the OVA version, not the cruddy one) concerning vampires, religion, and controversial material. The plot is complicated, and you would have to read or watch to really understand what we're talking about here.) If anyone can or is interested in picking up this mod, it would be very much appreciated by more than a few people. Thanks for taking the time to read. Cheers, Topsy_Turvy_Gypsy
