I'm having an issue. I was a vampire pretty early on in my game. I then went an completed the Companions quests (thus clearing my vampirism.) Upon completion I cured my lycanthrope. I'm not trying to become a vampire again. I can contract sanquinar vampiris but it isn't advancing. I have waited several days but it stays at stage 1 (25 reduced health.) Anyone know wtf to do?

Okay, I'm out of ideas. I've tried everything I can think of to fix my problem but nothing works. My issue is that Skyrim will randomly freeze from time to time. It won't CTD it just stops. I have to bring up the task manager to kill the program (and it says "not responding.) I've tried disabling all mods (including removing any loose files that remain.) I've tried reinstalling. I've tried lowering the graphics settings. I've updated all my drivers. Tried old saves and brand new characters. Nothing seems to work.
The freezes occur most often during a save (autosave or quicksave) but have occurred at random times while exploring. I've had interior and exterior freezes. Sometimes it happens every 5 minutes, other times I can go an hour or two with no freeze. I just can't think of anything else to try. Help me!
System Specs (lemme know if ya need something I missed):
Windows 7 Professional 64bit
Intel i5-2500k CPU 3.30GHz (not overclocked)
8GB Memory
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti

It all goes through Steam anyways. If your connection is good and you don't have a download cap digital is fine. Otherwise it is quicker to get the disk version, install it that way, and just patch it via download.

Is there a mod to put weapon enchant visual effects on a weapon (the glows and such) but not the actual effects (damage, paralyze, etc)?

i have a request put in for certain armour type to be made.. but i was wonering if one of you detectives can hunt down or perhaps seen something familiar, i am hoping to to utilise a crusade/tuetonic type armour..

Do me a favor? I can put different Mod male bodies?
Is there any mod which changes the character as you fight your mouth? In the sense "Angry, smiling etc ..." You can also put some Mod for the character when he drinks, eats, etc. ..?

You need to download armor mods that are made for CBBE. They will usually say so either in their name or their description. There are literally dozens of mods so you'll have to put the time into figuring out which ones you like. The quickest way to find some is to type in "CBBE" in the search menu. However, be warned that it won't give you every CBBE armor.

Are there any mods that change the positioning of the quiver of arrows to the hip instead of the back?

I've not actually done it myself but there is a spell sneak attack mod out already. You could talk to the creator to see what he did.

Any mods to increase dragon spawn/attack rates? I've found ones to decrease it and the "Dragons Hunt in Swarms" mod but I just want increased rate, not multiple dragons at once.

Browsing around the site found this mod, which may or may not be helpful. Give it a shot, although I can't speak from experience as I have never had this bug before.
Sweet, that fixed it. Just gotta remember to use the SKSE launcher instead of Steam from now on. Hopefully Beth gets it fixed soon. Thanks either way!

I'm having a problem with the game CTD when I cast bound weapons. Summoned creatures are fine, only bound weapons cause it. I've tried disabling all my mods to no avail. Any suggestions?

The dragon head doesn't open to let me get the 9th mask

Did you happen to change your race via console commands? If so you have to change it back to vampire with the following command: player.setrace nordracevampire
Replace nord with whatever race you are.

For some reason the Dragon Priest Shrine (where you put the 8 masks to get the 9th) isn't opening when I put all 8 masks on it. The busts take the masks but the dragon head doesn't open. Anyone run into this before/know how to fix it? I can just use the console to add the 9th mask to my inventory but it isn't quite the same.

Without changing anything else may be hard, but "advanced werewolves and vampires" is a good mod [werewolf and vampire parts separated] and I think it adds that ability to vampires
Cool that actually works out. The other mod I was using that changed vampire abilities did the same kind of stuff as the vampire version of that minus the detect life. I'll just end up replacing the old mod with that one.

Is there a mod that adds detect life to the vampire sight ability, preferably without changing anything else? Been browsing for awhile and can't seem to find one.
