What's a "head circle"? Do you mean circlet?

I advanced to stage four of vampirism without realizing the the game breaking consequences. Everyone attacks me on sight, making it nearly impossible to feed, and even when I get to someone sleeping it says "you have already been caught by this person". Honestly, what the hell? Is this a bug or something? Update: Now all of the sudden I don't even get the option to feed on people.
