  1. It's going to take some time to write the script to import all the stuff from colorful magic into spell research. I'll let you know when I'm done and have published the patch.
  2. Please link me the exact versions of what you want and I'll give it a go later today
  3. Il I tried out NFF on a new game but unfortunately Elisif and Balgruuf still do not give me the dialogue options to follow even though it said the NPC could follow after using Force Follower in the MCM. Though, I tried it on other regular NPCs (not Jarls yet) and it did work. I’m not sure how you went about getting them to respond when you tested it but I’ll play around with it a some more. I'm probably missing something or maybe there's a mod conflict. Anyway, I appreciate the recommendation. Some of these features are pretty nice. Try removing them from the JobJarl faction, tell them to follow you, and then add them back to the faction. Looks like the Jarl faction prevents the follow me dialogue from appearing. This should allow them to be a follower and still work for the Thane quests. I would make sure you've at least done the intro stuff with Balgruff and killed the first dragon though, chances are something will break if he's a follower while trying to go talk to Farengar and the guard that shows up. https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Factions_J
  4. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/55653 Try this. It's highly customizable and allows you to make an NPC a follower. I briefly tested it and it should work on the Jarl's, or any NPC I guess, as long as they aren't in a scripted sequence.
  5. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/58352 here you go
  6. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/58292/?tab=description Here you go mate. Let me know if you have any issues with it.
  7. I got permission from the author to convert it to SSE. Currently working on it.
  8. I sent the author a message asking for permission to port the mod. If he gives permission I will let you know and do my best to convert it to SE.
  9. If you don't want to start over from scratch you can just copy all the files over to the new drive, then "uninstall" skyrim on steam, then tell it to reinstall on to where you copied it, it'll scan and find all the files (it will also reacquire anything that is missing), then go into your mod manager and change all the file paths to their new locations, then go into your modding tools and change their file path settings as well. I've had to do this multiple times as my game and collection of mods gets bigger and bigger.
  10. I've played Skyrim many hours since its released and have been modding it since a little after the release of the Dragonborn DLC. I want to try my hand at making my own mods to give back to the community but am unsure of where to start. So much has been done already and I don't want to just make a worse version of stuff that already exists. I would like to start with things that involve no or very little scripting since my experience in coding is limited. I also don't mind the idea of creating patches or add-ons for already existing mods. I don't have the resources to create new assets either. For relevance on what my PC can handle I have a Threadripper 1900x, 2070 Super, soon to be 32GB RAM, and play in 3440x1440 resolution. Please comment any ideas, tips, and recommendations for any new mods/add-ons/patches that you & others would find useful.
  11. I downloaded a totally fresh copy of Skyrim SE and zipped it for this exact reason. In case it accidently gets updated I can go back.
