  1. I recently installed a mod and am having trouble running it from the Vortex Tools menu, yet I can run it if I click on the associated .exe file directly in Windows explorer. The mod is called BodySlider & Outfit Studio and it gave these instructions for adding it to the Vortex tool menu. In the dashboard go to "Add Tool". In the "Target" field, choose the "BodySlide x64.exe" file from your game installation's real data folder, NOT the Vortex mods folder: "Steam/SteamApps/Common/Skyrim Special Edition/Data/CalienteTools/BodySlide". I did this, and when I select RUN from the Vortex Tool menu nothing happens. When I navigate to the path shown above and click BodySlide x64.exe the application runs. Attached are two screenshots of my setup for this tool in Vortex. Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong? Thanks much for any advice anyone can offer!
  2. I am using the Vortex 1.8.4 Windows10, Skyrim AE (v1.6.640). I installed a mod (COCO) that gives the following instruction: COCOBODY V6 and Skin patch installation priority > Higher than XP32 maximum skeleton > Higher than SOS > Higher than other 3BBB body mods > Higher than Integrated MOD. After down a Mod Manager install of COCO, Vortex reported conflicts with XP32 and 3BBB, and it prompted me to create a rule to address those conflicts, which I did. However, I have SOS installed and no conflict was reported with SOS by Vortex. SOS is #1 in my load order, and the mod instructions say COCO should be loaded after SOS. Should I ignore this instruction since Vortex did not report a conflict? Or is there a way to manually add a rule for COCO/SOS or otherwise change the load order? Thanks much for any advice anyone may have!
  3. I was able to get Modwat.ch working in Vortex. Here are my notes on what I did. INSTALLING in Vortex In Vortex go to Extensions-tab, click "Find more" and search for modwatch. Install "Modwatch for Vortex" and follow the prompt to re-start Vortex. If you now get a message about needing more extensions, follow this message. After doing the above, I saw an orange "FAILED" button next to Modwatch. Forums said to do this and it worked (Modwatch no longer says FAILED) Go to Vortex Showcase and use the "manual download" for v0.2.1 and afterward drag-and-drop this download over to Extensions-tab (the "Drop File(s)" area). Re-start Vortex and Modwatch should work. https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/145?tab=files&file_id=960 USING To update the modwat.ch modlist click the "Upload to Modwat.ch" button (from the Mods menu) The first time I did this I was asked to give a name to my Vortex Showcase and entered a usename and password. I was told that the first time, whatever you enter is created as your login. Note: only one modlist page is maintained so when you change your mods and upload the list, the URL will show the new list (old list will be gone)
  4. I am new to modding and am running Vortex 1.8.4, Skyrim SE is my only managed game. My goal is to setup Modwatch, or something similar, with Vortex so that when posting for help about mods I can easily provide a list of mods I am running. I tried downloading Modwat.ch directly from their site, and was following a walk through guide on how to set it up and got stuck on the step to locate your mod manager's profile folder. I found the Vortex folder here and looked through the subfolders but do not see a profiles folder. C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex After doing some Google searches, I found this page on Nexusmods.com for something called "Modwatch for Vortex" https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/152?tab=files&file_id=685&nmm=1 I tried installing this (after installing the required Vortex Studio) and after restarting Vortex I see ModWatch for Vortex in the Extensions menu (Left side) but there is an orange button next to it that says failed (see screen shot below) Could anyone advice on which approach is better (manual install of download from Modwath.ch or Modwatch for Vortex extensio0n) and how to fix the problem I am having? Thanks much for any insights anyone can offer!
