ok so i think i might know the answer but want to check... to make a mesh shinier I should adjust the specular file, correct? working on a mod request for fallout4 PPK I've done retextures before but never tried to intentionally make an object super shiny and reflective

well if people are using them why haven't I seen anything on bethesda mods or falloutnexus? i mean i check often but if people really do use it I'm not seeing it is the SecondLife on here or is that a seperate webiste?

ok so just wondering about this for a while.... I make primarily modder resources for Fallout 4. Weapons, some props, etc. Some items textured, others not. I have some pretty popular downloaded models, guns and stuff with a combined amount of over 1000 downloads but I've never seen my stuff used in a mod and uploaded to the site. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/users/1823652/?tb=mods&pUp=1 What do you think is going on? People just hoarding free 3d assets or what?? I look at the Fallout4 Weapons section on the nexus often and see new original content (jealous of course) but no one ever using my free stuff. Ideas? Thanks and just want to get others views on this. Sorta feel like I'm wasting my time trying to help folks

that second imgur link is broken and afaik maya nif plugin to correctly export with rigging/animation/collision support is limited to ancient version of maya like 6, 7, 9. Look into the 3dsmax nif exporter plugin, many many more people use that

if you need a 3d model i can make an texture one for you free as for importing it, rigging, etc you'd need to ask someone else pm or email me

sorry started this thread i've seen my own work under other peoples names on the other sites. I mean i write in every Readme hey this is free but please credit the original author. Not feeling so keen on this request thing my tracker knife was ripped off, my very simple well model, and a few guns don't know what to say but i'm probably done giving stuff away or doing 3d here

If you're actually going to do this I'd focus on a small area of the mod and nail it down before biting off more than you can chew

Making a model and texture would be super simple. Are there Hat mods out by now? I don't use any armor mods so i don't keep track of that stuff

ReverseImage Search gets a bunch of hits on different mod sites for that weapon. Took 5 seconds to find it I don't think I should link to it but if you google the authors name........is in the first link you posted.........you get his blog and some of his bodyslide works

Hey so I uploaded my Basher Axe and looking to upload more modders resource stuff. Most of my uploaded work is on the Fallout 4 network pages. I also have a deviantart page with a variety of stuff I've made. Mostly weapons but I'm branching out. Working on some furniture and prop stuff right now. So I can make stuff relatively quickly and with decent quality. I do modeling and basic texture work with a variety of industry-standard maps. Not going to do a "45 weapons mod please please please" but if you want some bowls, a fence, a weapon or something simple holler at me and I'll make it happen for you. Stuff that actually gets used in a mod I'd love to see! So far only a small rifle project has been used but I'm looking to help people with their mods. That's the bottom line, helping people. Having an image reference to go off of helps a ton so if you're going to request something please have some images you can send or link to. If a project is going to take me more than 1 day I'm probably going to decline, fyi. But I made my axe in about 3 hours and I just made some golden candle stick holders for Fallout 4 in 30 mins so speed is important to me taking on requests. I'm doing this for fun and to help people, that's the bottom line. Thanks and I'm ready when you guys are....

I was working on a new 3d model weapon bullpup but I was a noob and never saved and maya crashed... 3 hrs work poof gone going to look through my old models and see if any are worth texturing and putting out as a resource -
what's that totally white oval on the stock? a reflection or a texture error? looking at page 5 the image at the very top
