So i've ran hundreds of enbs for several games that people uploaded, and they all work fine, and i like some of them, now, what i'm trying to understand is, what is enb? How can it form such a drastic difference? Enb files are all like 300kb with tthe main 30mb in size but some actually cause drastic differences, how does it do so? Is it a placebo effect where because the performance decreases substantially ? Does it actually change that much? How does it cause such drops in performance ( Relatively ) ?
Bottom line : What does enb do.

Thanks for the very clear explanation! and yes its a i7-4790 not 4990, my bad. Will my motherboard support the graphic card though? ( i know the chassis will, checked dimensions )

So, i want to buy the witcher 3, but seeing as my pc barely plays witcher 2 on medium graphics i'm very sure i'll need to upgrade.
Current :
I7 4990 ( Does it need upgrading? )
Nvidia 750Ti ( I want to get GTX 970, opinions/alternatives ) ?
Thermaltake 450w PSU ( I think this is too low, would a corsair 550 suffice? again if 450 is enough then i'd rather not ugprade )
8GB Ram Kingston ( Add 1 more 8gb stick? )
Seagate 1TB HD ( My understanding is SSD only quickens the opening of apps/ stuff , i can be patient , if it actually is necessary do tell )

Thanks, but do i install the whole thing again without uninstalling previous one? do i uninstall old > Install new ?

So in a game where i'm not starting with a clean save, where i could have started mod content, about to start, or even finished mod content, be it quest/ texture etc, and i see a new version and i'd like to update, what would i do?
Just download the newer falskaar update 1.2 ( Had 1.1.4 ) , and installed it and yes to all when it asked me now i have 2 active falskaars in my mod menu ( Though only one esm ) both ticked green, now wether this worked or not i'm yet to find out, i'm just wondering, what way am i ment to update ?
Uninstall old version completely ( Even if im midst content ) then install new version ? Just install new version and click yes to all when it asks?
P.s - i'm aware the ideal way is to just uninstall old, install new, and new save, but i don't want a new save.

been looking for a mod that lets the weapons keep their glow while their on the racks ( Such as stamina, fire ) etc. couldn't find one, if there is one, please refer me to it, and if not, is it hard to make? is it something that will take any of you super modders more than 5 minutes? Do i have to make it myself? :$

Ok so, like the title says , i have a billion mods installed, though i follow requirements and install guides etc and compatibility sections. i CTD quite often ( mostly when playing, but sometimes when loading )
How do i know if the CTDs are being caused because it's simply overwhelming my machine or because i have a dirty mod somewhere?

So, i'm going to give it a shot before i post loot's details. I have way too many mods for my own good, but my game's extremely stable. Everyone in tamriel is dark skinned, The lightest skin tone amongst all races in racemenu is a strong tan , even when manually creating the color, i'm giong the brightest i can but it's still tan-ny and the darkest is pitch dark! What's going on? Or is there a way to lighten the skin colors?
