If I wasn't wrong, Tullius did said that perhaps the Empire have to reconsider of allying with the Thalmor after winning the war (if you sided with the Empire). But returning to the main topic, are you asking for a mod that stop the war between the Empire and the Stormcloak by exposing the Thalmor's hidden intention to both of the leaders? I'm not a mod author myself, but perhaps this could be done: 1. The mod would best take effect in the beginning of the game, where the conflict hasn't progressed that much (in player's eyes). 2. The mod will give some quest to perhaps sneaking into the embassy and took the Thalmor Order and shove it to Ulfric and Tullius' face. If we have the luxury of the modder, perhaps we could also have the conference in High Hrothgar for both sides to reconcile and discussing about dealing with the Thalmor. The problem would be: 1. Changing the dialog between the Imperial and Stormcloak sides post-war. 2. Quest related to the Thalmor (what came into my mind would be when we sneaked into the Thalmor Embassy in the Blades quest). 3. Things that changed when one of the sides won the war originally. We can't have Elisif and Ulfric become the High King at the same time, can we?

Hmm, I don't know about the personality and quest part, but for just the "another Dragonborn" part, perhaps you might be interested in Familiar Faces mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/54509/? by Verteiron. Basically it turns one or more of your character (which is a Dragonborn) into either a follower or a foe for another character of yours. And since your character was a Dragonborn, so...yeah. By the way, you know that Miraak guy, another Dragonborn from the DLC? You could also turn him into your follower using this mod, http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/43529/? by transientfaith.

Hmm, until someone created it, your best bet would be some of the crossbow manual reload mod. Well, the logic here is that "you would only reload when you want it", but by using the automatic crossbow, well that basically disable the purpose of reloading. No reload animation, until you pressed the assigned key to reload. From what I see in Manual Crossbow Reload http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/54246/? by JZBai in Compability section, apparently Automatic Crossbows mod by J3X has been tried to be slightly incompatible (someone has the same idea with you here), in which the crossbow lose its automatic shooting feature when using this mod. My point here is, you need to wait for a compability patch to came out here. In my opinion, rather than waiting for a full-from-a-scratch mod, it would be faster waiting for a-slight-tweak, right? Now, I don't mind if someone actually created a mod that disable the reload animation, but perhaps you could have a better luck in there. Or perhaps some other manual reload mod have actually released the compability patch, and I simply miss it. Anyway, good luck. Interesting idea you have in here, and I will look forward to your success.

LE Unarmed Power Attack -> Resident Evil Melee Attack
crucifixzero posted a topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
Hello, everyone. I would like to request a mod that makes your unarmed attack into those melee attack possessed by Albert Wesker in Resident Evil 4 (if you don't know, you could watch his moves here starting at minute 3:48). I love the way he executed his Thrust Punch move, and think that it would be a great addition in Skyrim. I haven't thought about the the other power attack and dual power attack, though. Perhaps we could use Chikyo Chagi and some other moves to fill it. For your information, I've tried Martial Arts mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/9421/? by evanoblivion and Unarmed Warfare mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50416/ by WarriorKeKe. Although it was fun, it's still not enough for me, and I'm still looking for more fun mod out there. Thanks for the help. -
I believe the crossbow has to be remaked, then. This might not be an entirely correct answer for you, but have you tried the Automatic Crossbows mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26329/? by J3X? Or perhaps, if you don't mind some "leap in technology", you could try some firearms and guns mod such as Dwarven rifle 2nd Generation mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/54498/? by mahty.

Alright, going to check it out! Thanks for your hard work! EDIT : Hmm, let's see... The way it works seems like: Human form->Lycanthropic->Full Werewolf Form You could only advance once to another stage and couldn't just go straight from being human to full wolf form. In Human Form, the Lycanthropic Form would be available. In Lycanthropic Form, the Beast Form (Full Werewolf) would be available. And in Beast Form, well, revert back to human. Was that right? What I see from this feature: 1. Werewolf Form can now be activated as much as I like! Hell yeah! Oh, and the shout (Nightvision, Fear, and Revert) works too! Though apparently the Revert Form couldn't be used right away as you turned into a werewolf. 2. Human Form is...normal. Which is the way it supposed to be, I guess lol. The "Beast Form" was changed to "Lycanthropic Form" in here. 3. The problem is the Lycanthropic Form. I couldn't attack like a werewolf in this form (heck, I still could equip a weapon and use it). I didn't gain any access to most Werewolf skills, except Resist Disease (which actually still available in Human Form) and Beast Form. No Revert Form, no Howl of Terror, no feeding. Well, perhaps it was either: 1. Incompability with another mod. The only werewolf mod I currently use was "Beast Within" and "Faster Transform". 2. My fault lol? I actually didn't quite get this part in the Description: ***YOU MUST COMPLETE THE COMPANIONS QUESTLINE UP UNTIL THE SILVER HAND (INCLUDED), IF NOT THE WEREWOLF ABILITIES DON'T REMOVE AND ADD TO YOUR SPELL LIST PROPERLY*** Does that means: a. The mod must be installed only after I turned into a Werewolf? I've finished the Companions questline, by the way. (my current interpretation) b. The mod must be installed from the beginning at least before I got the Werewolf turning ability, and will be added when I finished "The Silver Hand" quest? But either way, I'm still quite content with this mod. In fact, I'm considering to go hybrid in order to try the Vampire Lord Overhaul. Once again, I thank you for this mod.

Hmm, I used Moonlight Tales and Werewolf Mastery, but this mod seems fun too. Thanks for the recommendation, I'll try it out ^^.
-
@JetSteele That's wonderful ^_^. Can't wait for it. @laffett Do you mean "The Beast Within - Passive Werewolf Perks" mod by elGrecoLoco?
-
An Overhaul to both? Well, that's fine with me. Since I'm just using one of the other, so I don't really have to mind about the other one, right? I'm looking forward to it. Thanks.

Glad to hear someone with similar idea, GuytzaWraith. Well, speaking about playstyle, I still feel that Werewolf form is strong enough, especially with the perks available to it. Guess that depends on the player's preference, then. Anyway, about that "Wolfman" reference, that's close enough. And lofgren, that's why I'm just asking whether it was possible to simply change the texture (which apparently wasn't an easy thing to do). Never thought it would be "that" hard until I posted this . I thought it would be the same as the Vampire Lord mod.
-
Well, I respect both tx12001 and your opinion, skyquest32, and I do think it would be plain weird with just appearance alone (which is why I also ask for things such as aura effect or ghastly presence). While waiting for the answer around, I also tried poke around the site more and found that there're other people that have similar idea with mine, but seemingly given up since it was apparently "more difficult than it sounds". Guess I'll just have to bear with it until someone that have the same opinion with mine, but have the skills to do it, showed up with the mod. Cheat, huh? I'll think about it, but I'm not sure I would use it since I'm worried that it might break the game. I mainly use a bow to snipe the enemy from distance. I used the werewolf form as a panic button when surrounded and resort to "violence and barbarism". And I don't know about the claw, but in terms of melee weapon, I could use another weapon (my favorite is dual daggers), so...yeah. Sorry lofgren, but even if it was there, that's not what I'm searching for. What i want from the werewolf is simply the power it possess. I don't really ate the corpse of the enemy (perhaps only when necessary, but never before), since 150 seconds of "violence and barbarism" are usually enough to finish most of the enemies , and I don't really need it for quite a while afterwards. It's just that, when I used that "panic button", I want it appear more like "berserk mode on steroid" rather than "monstrous carnivore beast". I know I could use the orc's ability, but that sprint attack, that rapid attack, that roar, it's just...too valuable to simply pass (for me), especially when against those annoying giants that always OHKO me when they reached me. Anyway, thanks for the respond and suggestion, everyone. I'll try to endure the werewolf appearance for now.
-
Is there a way? I like Werewolf playstyle, but simply couldn't like it's appearance. That's when the idea above hits me. If there's a way, then can you tell me?
-
Think about it this way. What if the character could simply use the hax power of werewolf (lore-speaking) without sacrificing their look? I've got this idea from Devil May Cry 4, where unlike the previously main character Dante (who could transform into a devil), Nero could use his devil power by simply calling some kind of powerful ghost-like apparation that covers him a whole. So, why couldn't we do that for the werewolf in Skyrim? Imagine your character summoning some kind of spectral spirit around him/herself that actually done the attack for you, as if he/she's some kind of host of an angry god. Well, let's just leave the spirit thing alone for now, since I believe it would take more effort to do than the appearance. Basically, I just want something different. I'm sure there's no harm in doing that lol. Perhaps it was weird for some people, but hey, people have differing taste with others, right?
-
How to do that? I'm sorry, I'm a beginner in this modding stuff, so I'm still grasping blindly here  . Perhaps you could teach me the steps?

Hello, everyone. I would like to request a mod (or a way) that makes your werewolf form stay as human, or any race your character probably using. The character will still behave like normal werewolf form, so...yeah, they're still werewolf, just in their normal human form (or any other race they're using). I just don't really like Werewolf form for some reason, especially after seeing this mod for Vampire Lord: Better Vampire Lord Transformation by Loshirai14 http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25321/ So I thought "Hey, perhaps there's also something that could be done about the Werewolf!". To make it better, perhaps they could have some aura around their body (while in Werewolf Form) like in this mod: Glowtastic by vysh http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12253/? And since they retain their normal form, perhaps the equipment musn't be released while in the form and after reverting back. Is there a way to do that along with this? But just the appearance is enough. Anybody could help me (or guide me) somehow? Or perhaps some similar mod have been created or discussed previously? Because if it already has, can you show me the link? Thanks for the help.
