  1. Sorry for dredging, but I forgot about this thread. One more thing I just thought of could be some sort of hit and run tactics, like some raiders shoot from one side of a building, then run to the other side or somewhere else to lose you, then attack again from a blindspot, but I'm thinking this is waaay past the limitations of the engine.
  2. I've seen some great mods of huge caliber rifles, like Alexscorpion's m82 for one example, but there are two that I feel should be made. An NTW-20 http://www.securityarms.com/20010315/galleryfiles/1200/1272.htm http://www.giantbomb.com/forums/off-topic/31/meet-the-real-life-version-of-the-halo-sniper-rifle/5509/ And a Lahti L-39 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lahti_L-39 http://www.thegunzone.com/people/lahti.html (included for clarity of scale) I've had this idea for a while, but I'm no modder. I have no idea where to start with this, or even what to do. The main things I've thought up for this mod would be that the Lahti would weight about 100 pounds by itself, but have massive stopping power, (taking out super mutant masters) but the ammo would be astronomically expensive. The NTW-20 should be lighter about 40 pounds, but much harder to find or more expensive, as it is scoped, and more accurate. It may make it (somewhat) more realistic to limit your ability to run while drawn, if this is possible (fose?), or make your character unable to draw them at all while standing, and unable to fire if moving at all. Since this is my idea and I'm sure others would like it as well, I will provide any assistance I can to anyone who wants to take this on.
  3. At the end there when you said the 'did I find ammo part', what if instead of them charging with melee weapons they instead hid behind a rock or the corner of a building or some other obstruction for you to find them, then try to clobber youD? I am not sure if this is possible, but if I recall correctly, there are some mods that make your own followers use cover in firefights, so this may be possible.
  4. Wow, I feel brilliant. Now that you say that I actually remember seeing that before. Thanks, I would still be waiting for someone to recreate an existing mod without your help.
  5. There have been some mods like FWE and Reborn mods that were made to enhance the fps aspects of FO3. Most of the enhancements were just added damage, increased accuracy, different sounds and visuals, but one of them was a grenade hotkey, similar to Halo or COD. It was made to throw a grenade by pressing the 'g' key, no matter what other weapon was equipped. Lately I have been thinking how useful it would be to have a knife or even punch hotkey to take out the last unarmed enemy in a fight without wasting precious ammo or time. If anyone has any idea how this was accomplished, and has time to make the mod, please do so. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would use this.
