you can buy far larger solid state hard drives.. but as of this moment.. only a special $3500 Dell server and the Apple I-Mac Air laptop have them. the Apple product has a 2.5 TB solid state drive. the Dell server has two 1.5TB drives. as of standard SATA right now.. yes.. the capacity available sucks.. speeds however are at least 5 times faster than conventional platter drives no moving parts.. also due to the manner in which data is written onto a solid state drive no defragging is ever needed.. performance is scary... but still pricey..... as an aside to this... solid state hard drives produce heat.. so it's wise to improve heat dissipation and transfer from your case and especially away from your drives if you stack multiples in raid config.

Just my 2 cents here... and PLEASE!!!! don't scream and throw plushies at me... Ok... I bought The Sims.. and Sims 2.. showed them to my sis.. and now she's hooked..She loves modding the Sims.. I have basically all girls here.... and the youngest loves Runescape and also shares my City of Heroes account.. she loves it as much as I do. HAHA.. she loves playing tanks and scrappers.. me.. I like playing Blasters.. I hate getting in close and personal... no way I'm messing up my beautiful clothing.. the sewers are bad enough. Many girls play offline games.. and almost as many online... I know my sis is scared of online gaming... no idea why...yet I know that I and many others do like online too.. For me online gaming first and foremost is a fun way to socialize... the gaming part comes next and might be very fun depending on the game.I've played ones where socializing was not often or really a part of the game.. I HATED those games..
BTW... I'm not gonna get mad at a guy if he likes to start at my shoes and stops at my chin... but he'd better at least PRETEND to look at my face when I speak.. but most guys have trouble doing that with me... you want to look at my boobs well you don't have much choice but to look me in the face.. HAHAHAHA!!! being short ROCKS!!

If in reference to Swat's reasoning for worse game ever... then I'd have to say RF Online... a wonderfully fun game.. beautiful graphics.. excellent game play... and soo full of hacker glitchers. RMT spammers and automated miners(bots) as well as far too many exploiters aimbots and health potion glitchers.(almost invulnerable with infitite pot/instant cooldown hacks) and using aimbot hacks so all they have to do is run past a group of lowbies and without even slowing down to stop and shoot everyone dies... Lousy game moderators.. constantly banning people randomly... ingonring a terrain glitcher/bot yet banning a frustrated legit player for terrain glitching to kill the bot. incredibly poor almost lacking support from the game creator.. I can go on... a wonderful game.. ruined ...

ooohkaaay.. the RPG mod doesn't seem to work right.. it turned that guy in Rivet city from the Commonwealth into a weird looking guy....(the one that's supposed to be the vendor in Megaton).. so no RPG..... dunno if there's a fix or anything..

I don't know who uses the Missile launcher.. but darn.. that thing is HUGE!!! plus at max repair what.. 1000 damage? so how about a much smaller lighter RPG.. rifle sized weapon rather than Super Mutant sized... max damage is 500 and half the weight.. also has a short range scope for better accuracy..(the real one has a scope) .. just an idea for an alternative to the missile launcher. Maybe even make it available in stripped down iron sight version and scoped.

Cuba is what... something like 90 miles from Florida?? Bermuda is more then twice the distance from D.C. As the Pitt. well past a mere 90 miles..I still like the idea.... so don't think I'm shooting it down.. but like Deadzen.. I think Cuba would be better ..but yes.. not closer... To be honest.. Manhattan Island .. ala Escape From New York would be very interesting.

elooocin ... I do not disagree with him being honorable.. that's kinda why I said he's like a Klingon.. I mean he's definitely full of honor...but like a Klingon... I'd be pretty spooked working with someone who could turn me to mush with his bare hands faster than I could blink... and just might...if I acted in a way disgusting to his sense of honor... I find the guy kinda scary...

I think character builds would be nice.... say you are a woman. you can pick a tough muscular build that has a marginally feminine walk.... or like Morrigan who practically ooozes sensuality.. a slender shapely build .. or a rogue with a fluid dancer's body and grace.. trim and sensual.. but solid as well and each build can wield different types of weapons some exclusively.. some with bonuses or minuses... each build moves differently... from a plodding tank of a man to a less plodding tank of a woman.. to one that moves with such grace and sensuality even a room full of statues would take notice.
lets say you have a powerfully built fighter wielding a rapier... "SLASH! WHAM!! BASH!! SNAP!! oops it broke.. "
Then a lighter build .. swiftly slashes and parries.. lunges and ripostes.. and is even more skilled using one with a Main Gauche in the opposite hand.

yup.. tried it too.. had to just uninstall Fook2 and restart... no go.

I recently installed fook2 with updates and FOSE. I have a custom mod with some custom perks..
none of them will work .. FOOK2 perks will not work.. and Vanilla perks will not work.
When I lvl up and pick a perk regardless of what perk I choose.. the game locks up and I'm stuck and have to hard reboot to get unstuck.. reloading and trying again even from an earlier start point seems to have no effect.
please advise.

I just can't figure out guys that well.. so playing one just feels soo weird.. and doing an RPG with romance stuff in it... it's confusing.I might lust for Zeveran.. :whistling: but hey... doesn't mean I'll PLAY him... just with him...Gawds.. I admit I even tried some of that D&D stuff.. some friends were into it.. and I got dragged along for a couple games..even then I had female chars..

I have done that too... I have played thru once... but I often get miffed that something character wise is not as it should be..
Equally I've 4 times tried playing with a male character and would get so far before I was soo confused as how to play a guy I in frustration deleted him. (wish RL had that option.. LOL)

I play female chars in every game I play cause I just feel really weird playing a guy, I'm a girl... so I play a girl... I don't have wienie envy.. I'm very happy with what I have .. but I will admit.. I have tried playing a guy char and I just can't figure it out.. I get frustrated and quit.. I'm comfortable playing as my own gender....besides... yep we ARE hotter.. LOL.. Zev tho is awfully cute.

I doubt the game engine has any usefulness for this.... and true.. when you ask Morrigan about it she says she has no need to even attempt it.. let alone a reason to train in this type of shape shifting..but if the setting for DAO was real.. being able to shift various human forms.. appearing as someone else.. it would be soo useful and sneaky... "guards chase you down a winding alley... you manage to slip far enough ahead.... suddenly you remember ..that cute serving wench who lives in this alley.. you know she's well known in the bars.. these guards will recognize her.. you shift... relax and act innocent.. they catch up to you.. grab your shoulder and turn you .. you shriek and shy away pretending to be frightened.. they realize they have caught the wrong girl as they recognize the serving wench you now appear to be.. they continue on apologizing for accosting you... you walk back the way you came.. a wicked grin on your face as you shift back and laugh quietly.. you palm the gem you stole..one they will never find ."

I don't remember her name.. but during your quest within the deep roads you happen upon a member of the party you are searching for... mad and incoherent mostly.. but she describes some of what happened.. especially to the dwarven women.. it's made clear ,tho I'm not sure she outright says it..but the women were definitely raped.. I'd assume it was intended as both torture.. part of turning them... and ensuring they reproduced... if they survived....I may be wrong as to if genetics take any part in it.. but I'm pretty sure it does...

HAHAH!! Boodica used a pretty huge sword.. probably as large...but then she was a powerful warrior and somehow I think she'd dwarf your 5'4 height... and make me look like a mite beside her.. I'm 2 inches shorter yet.. wouldn't even want to TRY to wield one of those... yes .yes.. I know women are not weak.. but good god!! we're NOT as strong as men.. we weigh less than half what most men do.. are smaller.. but we are NOT weak.. we have speed and quickness.. incredible flexibility and an athletic and lithe woman can easily outmanouver and outfight a much stronger slower man.. women excell with lighter weapons Tomoe Gozen was considered an incomparable warrior.. not only in her skill but her beauty.. she had only one equal.. the man she married.. he married her because she was the only woman he ever found who he could call worthy of him.. no other woman was his equal.. he wanted for no less than such.. she was a master swordswoman. but the weapons of choice for this woman was the Yumi and a weapon exclusively developed for women... although employed by men as well but in the hands of a skilled woman the Naginata was never deadlier.light.. quick strong.. as agile as the woman wielding it.. women can easily use swords.. knives.. many other weapons... but I think weapons exclusively mastered by women should be used in the game especially for women. Extra stats to light weapons when employed by a woman.. no.. we are NOT as strong as a man.. but we are quicker.. and our small size and quickness makes us a lot harder to hit.

Look at it this way...... kinda wish in a way they made it even more clear to your character depending on gender...
Say you are a Male Warden.... your female followers are unaware.. but soon you learn... it chills you to the bone and you grimly set to even if it means your death protect the woman/women in your party... they notice you are acting oddly.. more protective than normal.. and always watching them... kinda gives them the creeps.. so they demand an explanation why you are acting like a nutcase all the sudden... you relent and explain what you have learned... your female party members are now frightened.. understandably... and then things progress from there.... now with a more driving imperative.. protect and defend these women who mean soo much to you now..
You are a female Warden.. Alistair keeps looking at you pensively.. a worried look on his brow... he keeps finding stupid reasons to stay close to you.. even when you bathe.. you keep catching him looking in your direction.. at first you think he's just trying to see you naked... but every time you catch him looking.. his face is wrought with obvious worry... for you?? why??
You demand finally to know what the devil is wrong with him... why he's acting soo weird and creepy..finally he explains what he's just recently learned about the underdark.. and the Darkspawn.. especially what happens to the female captives... you are now marked by them.. they hunt you relentlessly.. you already have survived their taint... for them.. now... as you are... it would be almost certain if you fell into their hands.. you would be brutalized.. and turned into a brood queen.. the thought chills you to the bone ... and a new and more urgent fear to end this blight grips your heart like an icy talon...

Not all do.. some do generate heat...some don't....I'd just make sure to check and deal with it if needed.
My sister has an external SSD and tho it was only warm.. it does generate heat.
