  1. You're not giving much information to help.

Is your Window Mode click on or off in your Launcher Settings?

I play with Window Mode on because it's easier to switch between screens and other windows. I use OneTweak to make it like as if I'm still playing in full screen. You can try that mod and see if it helps with your "Window Mode" issue.

I understand that it sounds like you don't want to be playing in Window Mode, but if it's not even checked on; you can just try and see if that mod helps with the issue.

well whatever it was using that OneTweak mod seems to have fixed the issue. so on that note: thank you for helping me solve this problem by using another mod!

NOTE TO ADMIN: THIS TOPIC IS NOW CONSIDERED CLOSED!!! PLEASE LOCK THIS THREAD!!

  2. i did not realize that there is a way to put the game into windowed mode, because every time i installed the game prior to this, it was always in fullscreen. i will have to find the setting in the game's actual launcher, instead of starting it through MO (Mod Organizer)

  3. Hey guys! posting this thread here in hopes that someone out there has a clue how to fix a weird problem i have come across.

i recently re-installed Skyrim and Skyrim SKSE with some new mods i wanted to try out. but for some reason, when i launch SKSE it comes up in a windowed mode, unlike the normal way of playing the game. also i tried playing in the game for a bit through SKSE and the FPS camera is buggy as all hell. every time i move, it drastically shifts up or down. anyone know how i can fix these issues?? your help is GREATLY appreciated!

  4. The fix for these problems is in the description of the mod:

Help! I'm experiencing Infinite Load Screens (ILS) and/or Crashes to Desktop (CTD)!!!

In March of 2013, Bethesda released their final patch for Skyrim. Version 1.9.32.0.8. Prior to this, Open Cities Skyrim had little trouble operating in the available memory the game provided.

It has since been found though that Patch 1.9 changed something about the way Skyrim allocates its initial pools of memory, likely due to trying to get the DLC to work on the PS3 and then not bothering to make sure the PC had, you know, PC specific code for that.

The end result is that when traveling, either on foot or by fast travel, it becomes possible for you to run into problems with ILS/CTD issues. This is especially true in Windhelm and almost guaranteed to happen when trying to get back from Solstheim. It's also likely to happen when fast traveling from one city to another, and CTD may result when trying to enter some interiors after you arrive.

Fortunately the community has devised a solution to this problem in the form of a pre-load memory patch. There are several options for these now, but the one I most strongly recommend is shipping as part of SKSE now beginning with SKSE 1.7. In order to configure SKSE 1.7 to resolve this problem, you simply need to make sure your skse.ini file in Data/SKSE contains at least the following lines:

    [Memory]

    DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768

    ScrapHeapSizeMB=256

This should resolve the problem on all but the heaviest of load orders. If you still have issues, then you can try either raising the 768 value to 1024, or install ENBoost which will help further reconfigure how RAM is used by the game. There are limits to this, so be careful. Skyrim can only have a maximum of 4GB even on a 64 bit system with boatloads of RAM. Allocate too much to either of the two SKSE settings and you'll be right back where you started with the ILS/CTD problem.

My own load order has 96 active mods, and the SKSE settings alone turned it from totally unstable to fairly rock solid reliable.

i've tried this, and i still crash and get infinite loading screens

is there another way to solve this issue??

  5. hey there! dunno if there is a thread on this issue already, but im having problems with a mod called Open Cities Skyrim. its causing CDs/ILSs and im trying to fix that. ive got the mod uninstalled right now, but i'd like to keep using it. can someone help me find a solution to the problem?

  6. i hate to say it... but i think your problem is that u simply have too many mods loading into the game at start-up... thats a really long list of mods you have there and if your system cant handle that load for right now, i suggest removing some of the mods on that list. id remove the ones that take the most of your CPU's RAM and/or data. i have no real experience in this, but this is what i have to say about the matter.

even if you have a great system, there are still some things that will cause your game to crash. if it isnt the system, then the next process you will have to take is to painstakingly disable all of your mods, then re-enable each of them one at a time. i myself have a decent mod list that i was having trouble with, and i still get CTDs every now and then but it was mainly due to a mod called Open Cities Skyrim (have to look up solution for that) and still have to find which other mod is causing my game to crash. these are the only two things i can recommend you do

  7. hey there! ive been browsing the nexus trying to find a mod to help organize my saved games for my characters that i create. unfortunately i have had no such luck and have only one character for the moment. if anyone knows of a mod that can help me edit my saves, your comment will be much appreciated :)

  8. hey there! surfing the nexus to find a mod called BOSS to help me with my load order, but have unfortunately hit a virtual brick wall... seems the file has gone missing, and i need it for some of my mods... can someone help me find it please????

or point me in the direction of its creator??

  9. i too would like to throw in my thanks and gratitude for the multitude of mods that make this game even better than those who had originally created it. many games i have played, but few of the companies have EVER allowed their players to create and share their own works in their games, and Skyrim has become my top most played game since the day i bought it for myself.

    so, with that being said,

THANK YOU SO VERY, VERY, VERY MUCH! hope to see more great works come out :)

  10. hey there! i was wondering if any of you know of any mods that allows you to display more that one 1hand weapons to be displayed on you when you are dualwielding weapons... the fact that tthe second comes out of nowhere is rather annoying....

please post a link for it if you do know where it is!!! thanks :D

  11. Hello all!

I felt like making this post to show appreciation for the modders and the host who allows them to display their works on Nexusmods.com

For the past year or so, i have been looking for many great mods for skyrim, and i must say that i am absolutely ASTOUNDED by the amount of mods for it. Each one giving a unique feel to the game where there should be.

Though i know that nexusmod hosts many other games, it is skyrim that i come back to (because thats the only one i can find mods for atm) SO! with that said, Thank you modders for making such great works of art and dedicating what time you have to put in to your work :)

Thank you also Nexus Team for allowing modders to put their content onto your website, and even creating a mod manager tool for all your supported games!

    Sincerely and forever yours

    Hey there!!

i have some questions pertaining to Skyrim

    Q. #1: I am looking for a mod that allows you to pan the camera around your character while he/she is in motion and not standing around, like you normally would be able to pan the camera.

    Q. #2: I have seen pictures from MANY many mod files posted either by the creator and/or the players via feedback and sharing of awesomness... How do I take a screenshot of my Skyrim character??? i wanna share the loves too!!

hope to get a reply soon

    -megilex

for screen shots open your console and type tfc 1

game will freeze and you can pan your camera around

to get rif of the HUD open console again and type tm

to return to normal play open console again and type tfc 1 again

to have a free camera while moving or not paused just type tfc in your console

    make sure you save before

Ah i see... thanks for the insight, it is much appreciated :)
