Hmmm... are you using primary needs from FWE? It disables HP gain from food and water in the default setting, but that can be adjusted with the FWE control panel. Just turn it back on in the Primary Needs section.

Closest thing is Fellout, but a complete restoration is all but plausible without an ambitious group of modders, considering the magnitude of Fallout 3's Capital Wasteland.

Hello there Borderlands players,
I've been playing Fallout 3 recently and I'm thinking about making another purchase. Borderlands sounds promising, and I'd like to hear from people who've played it their first-hand experiences with the game, some pros and cons and how it measures up to Fallout 3.
Now, I realize this has probably been asked a lot already, but I'm looking for spoiler-free information, so I'm not using a forum search.

It is possible to do so, but Fallout 3 being built the way it is, not entirely simple. The easiest way would be to use FO3Edit and copy all related entries into a new .esp file. However, you must make sure to copy everything related, including sounds, first person models, world models, scripts, base effects, object effects if any, projectiles etc. And you need to export either the item placements on locations and creatures for the new guns (and new ammo, if present) or manually add them to your inventory via debug console.
Just out of curiosity, what mod are you referring to and why can't you use the whole mod?

You can't save them, they're dead for real. Next time, don't skip over the documentation of the failsafe.
As for Braun, he's trapped into an eternity of loneliness. Well, probably not eternal since despite the active maintenance robots, one pod fails every century or two. Vanilla has no way of euthanising him, but FOOK adds the option of cutting the power to his pod.
Nothing left to do, just talk to Dad and move on with him.
EDIT: I apologize for my premature judgement. One of the mods I had must have fixed that so I never noticed.

Oooh! Pick me! Pick me!
*ahem*
Do u play kotor 1 or 2 or u play all of those 2.
I've played both, liked from both for different reasons.
Second: In ur opinion what is better kotor 1 or 2. if u played 2 or 1 tell me please.
Hmmm... let's see... KOTOR 1 is definitely more polished, but if you want darker and edgier, part 2 is a way to go. Be sure to pick up a certain droid for his hilarious dialouge, you'll know which one.
Story-wise, I'd say 2 *started out* with a more intricate plot than 1. The lack of a proper ending hurt. The new followers in part 2 are generally more interesting (Kreia!), though the best of the oldies make a return.
Also, KOTOR 2 is as plagued with cut content and invalid references thereof as good old Fallout 2 back before the days of avid modding.
Third: What would u like to change or add in kotor 2 or kotor 1 or both of them.
Proper ending for KOTOR2, no more fully randomized loot in KOTOR2, taking care of the missing content in KOTOR2. All that, and I can die a happy man.
Four: Did u play with cheats or with no cheats.
Cheats? Never!
Five: Did u use mods or no
A few for 2, none for 1. Those new RSM lightsaber hilts just looked too cool to stay away.

(EA doesn't own them right? good)
I know what you mean. The only thing EA should own is a declaration of bankruptcy. They already have a moral one.
Grudged aside, congratulations to Obsidian for picking a competent guy, and congratulations to Oscuro for becoming an Ascended Fanboy
May the new game be much more stable.

Spathi from Starcontrol.
While we're at it, Ur-Quan, Ilwrath and especially Thraddash would be nice. Always wanted to blast one of those face to face.

Well, the way I understand it, the functionality of the processor widget is direct tied into the Wasteland Survival Guide quest. You would have to set the quest stage back to the point where the objective of installing the widget on the mainframe is active.
If you don't wanna do the quest, you're not really missing much. The widget just activates all the robots in the RobCo facility (spoilers), but they'll be hostile and you must hack the mainframe to change their behaviour do something more favourable. If you want to get rid of the quest item, simply type into the debug console:
player.removeitem 2D3B4 1

Hello Fallout Nexus,
Firstly, although I have only recently registered, I must say I'm in awe at the works of this modding community for quite some time. I can't imagine playing Fallout 3 without your mods anymore.
Now, onto the subject: The Vault-Tec Bobbleheads, although seemingly a neat idea at the time of development, are pretty damn unrealistic, I daresay not Fallout-like. If boosting your SPECIAL stats was as easy as picking up a doll and reading a motivational phrase, we'd be seeing toy stores instead of gyms. So, why not do the stat-raising the old fashioned way of Fallout 1 and 2, that is to say, computer-assisted surgery from the Brotherhood of Steel? The plan is to replace the bobblehead with memory modules for physical enhancement at the Citadel using an old pre-war computer stored there. Put in the respective missing memory memory and one week later of recovery: New enhanced stats, the Fallout way.
As for the skill bobbleheads, one could use either the limited edition Cat's Paw magazines or maybe some other kind of pre-war learning holotapes or books.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think this suggestion has been posted before.

The only ways I know is some serious tampering with the debug console or a reload to a save before you broke the script.
The latter is probably the more time-efficient choice.

Yeah, the Mister Gutsies, RL-3 included are really a blast. Honestly, they're pretty much the among most memorable character(s) for me.
I finally found a Pulse Pistol from EVE, and that thing is one hell of a weapon. It's got some pretty wicked death animations - when I first saw
*spoilers for EVE*
a guy lifted up ten feet into the air and explode, I knew I was in for an awesome show. The Pulse Pistol is the most fun compact death dealer I've had since the Firelance, and the ammo for it is much more common, too. Half those special death animations knock my character on his @$$ when close-up though, which can be a little annoying.
*end spoiler*

If I had to choose, the more commonly available ammo would make Ol' Painless a winner.
But style-wise, nothing beats the gooifying action of a good plasgun. Expect maybe that EVE pulse stuff.

Ah, Torment. One of the most sophisticated CRPGs ever designed. The plot is a wonderful change from the usual 'save the world from the big bad', the paradox-riddled setting and the companions are as anti-cliche as it gets. Great stuff.
I wish there were more party banters, though. So much material for conversation between all those oddballs yet unused...
Sadly, my memories of my recent playthrough are still fresh enough to remember most of the game's contents, so the superb plot is not an incentive for a replay to me.
And yes, watching all two minutes of Celestial Host is nice at first, but gets annoying quickly.
