You guys are all really motivating, lol. I admit i bit off a bit more then i can chew, but even so I'd love to give this a try. And about permission, seems like he left it completely out in the open. Imma work with that until i contact him. If anybody would like to look into working on this project, thatd be great.

Look at it. it had alot of potential, and since i dont know much of the owners ideas and intentions, i guess we'd mainly take the resources and reform it One thing tho, i wanna keep the real Desert concept in D U N E. Like, i enjoyed elsweyr deserts of anequina, but i felt the desert wasn't.. Desert enough. Like it wasnt barren enough. D U N E truly picks the desert concept up which is why i chose it. So we'd mainly fill it up with quests and npcs, the cities would be buzzing with life but the outside would be a hostile wasteland. Also, as for scripting... I know nothing about scripting, but if theres somebody great at it. maybe we can add something similar to fatigue that makes your character need water.

Hello there. Ive recently picked up the basics on how to mod. After a while of thinking the first thing i should try to do, i decided something,. I recently found the D U N E mod. it was made a while ago and abandoned. This couldve been a beautiful mod. So i decided i'd take the resources into my hands and try to finish it. Im pretty basic, so i'd like to learn on the way of making it. I'd need help from other people, so hopefully somebody is interested in this project too. Anyway, get back to me. You know the yellow triangular thing on the map, the one that shows where you are. Mine has dissapeared. Completely. i tried turning off all mods and i tried installing the unofficial oblivion patch, niether helped. It dosent show on the world map or the little maps of towns and dungeons. Somebody help please? :(

Issue is is that this may complete with the mod, Empires glory. i think thats the name ? In there you can also become emperor and MANY other features and an in depth questline, and many other peaks like forming legion sqauds, etc. It isnt done yet, but even if you finish first they may overrun you. just a warning XD

Unfortunetly you didnt do enough research for mods. The wings could be found easily, find the Alexanders wings mod. they have wings like that. And as for the armor, Nicos dreadwraith armor. Its designed for males but can be worn by both. PS. Cape is also easy. Search Cape or capes in the search engine. i cant remember the name of the mod but theres a mod that adds many capes to divine elegance, theres a deep black cape.

Strange. if you have any mods that change the camera in literally anyway, try turning those off. Try turning off all your mods if that dosent work.

By the way, it wouldnt take as much work as it may seem. It took bethesda four years to develop the whole continent of cyrodiil with so many things packed into it. Surely, if they were develop these tiny islands of akavir, atmura, yokuda it would take only a matter of months.

Good point. I say,let's make this game bigger by adding large stuff,like continents,all of the provinces,new quests,etc. It might take a lot of time,but it will sure pay off,it will bring people back to Oblivion,and and that is what makes this game alive. :thumbsup: Moranda Yeah. another idea i did have was a mmorpg of oblivion, yes ive seen oblivion reborn multiplayer mod. BUT I HATE IT. If your oblivion is even somewhat modded others cannot see it. I'd prefer an oblivion mod that allows you to create private servers that require you have ever mod they run with. This way players can play the way they want, with who they want.

I always love browsing on uesp, learning about the lore of the TES games. And i always notice that, not even a fraction of the lore was put into the games. As a mod idea or even for TES 5 when it comes out, maybe have the game take place in Akavir, Atmora or yokuda. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Nirn Truthfully, i wouldn't give a damn if a TES 5 came out. I'd much prefer to see more oblivion plug ins, working as if they were new games. The largest plug in i saw for oblivion made by bethesda so far is the shivering isles. Why not instead of making a new game, improve your old one. Add the other continents of Nirn.

If you look at it, all the oblivion npcs are adults. i never really understood this. Not once have i walked around the oblivion world and seen a child. So if anybody is able to make a mod that adds children npcs, thatd be great. :P

An incredibly good idea, makeable but an issue would be the burning cities and etc. Those would be pretty complicated textures and meshes. :P

Ive heard of them. im completely uninterested in that project. Though the morrowind story was good the world itself sort of bored me. I'd prefer to make the oblivion realms. ^.^

Thanks forthe advice. :) Thing is if i were to create Quagmire itd probly just be a very horrifying animation, not a playable realm. There isnt much to play there. I'd really like to Apocrypha, and Moon shadow. My idea for moon shadow was when you entered it was scripted to activate another mods effect, Inhebiration. Where you can get drunk and your screen becomes blurry. I dont know much about the TES construction set, but is there a random book placer? If so Apocrypha would probly take not much work as the other realms. Sounds like your pretty devoted to your mod... If you were wiling to teach me how to use the construction set, thatd be GREAT. Please get back to me on that. The tutorials arent for me so please dont even mention them. Im more hands on, one on one tutor. Also, you won't be teaching somebody whose weak on computers. Im a quick learner and im pretty good on the computer, i just need help using the Construction set.
