Thanks I'll try out the plants and see if I like that one. I kind of feel like plants are underrepresented in the mutations (with a couple of New Vegas exceptions). You either get a blasted hellscape or a verdant pre-war forest not something more fun and unique. Looks like a good start though.

Correct me if I'm wrong but there don't seem to be any glowy tree mods kicking around. Anyone know how to mod assets like trees to glow? I've seen glowing plants and even additional creatures so it must be possible. I'd like to up the ante on the radioactive alien-ness of the environment.

Fallout 4 Brotherhood of NOD mod suggestion
Glaurung26 replied to LegendaryMADMAN's topic in Fallout 4's Mod Ideas
Very much this ^^. I'm cosplaying me some Brotherhood of Nod, in the name of Kane. My dweller is the bald-man with the goatee and the minuteman general uniform with leather shoulder pads (work in progress, I had a good preset but lost it) and outfitting my settlements with N7 armor and also a custom settlement flag with the Nod scorpion tail. Just get ready to pay for many fiber optics. ALL of the fiber optics. N7 armor: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/5016 custom flags: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15262 A proper conversion mod (or faction addition/dungeon) would be fantastic. Maybe change the mushrooms into crystals, change the doggos into tiberium doggos, edit the names/labels of radiation into tiberium or just preface it as tiberium radiation, etc. Just convert the brotherhood of steel into your GDI artwork/assets/armor conversions, fudge a couple labels; then change any enclave stuff into Nod assets and sprinkle a few patrols or dungeons here and there. The most work would be in the asset creation and making sure it integrates well without too much suspension of disbelief with the voiceover references. Or you could hire on voice actors too if you're feeling feisty. And that your added stuff doesn't create a bug maelstrom over Boston. Because Bethesda code is a spaghetti spider nest. TLDR it's doable. -

Hey everybody, I'm really enjoying all of the npc creation tutorials out there but one thing I always have trouble with in creation kits is using vanilla voices/dialogues in conversations for my new follower/npc. I know how to record custom dialogue, I'm not looking for that. So short of cloning an existing npc, splicing in a follower script package and changing the appearance does anyone have any tips for tracking down vanilla npc wav files for use in conversations?

As of 0.47.3 I've determined I'm getting significant lag and eventual freezes from calling the mod side info panel for each mod in the list. I disabled it and it hasn't given me any trouble yet. I was in the middle of troubleshooting an issue with Skyrim's intro and getting very irritated that it was taking forever to disable my mods. If this is all it is, it's not a big problem but other people could be having it too.

NMM 0.47.0 "forced" update to fix the download issues
Glaurung26 replied to Dark0ne's topic in Site Updates
Thank you thank you thank you. I don't want bogged down servers from people hogging them with ridiculous numbers of downloads a piece and I kinda like not being forced to update info all the time. With all the troubleshooting I do, the more get up and go from the manager, the better. The past month or so start up has been painfully slow. Maybe this will perk it up a bit. Edit: OMG o_O at that download list. -
Brilliant! Thanks for the info guys. I'll check that stuff out and patiently await v0.50.

Hey all, I was curious about the feasibility of making different loadouts of mods within each game. In my different saves I tend to do different things with them to keep it interesting and so I make use of different mods from my list. I think it would be awesome if NMM let you make multiple installation lists (maybe in tabs along the top) to launch from. This would also ease some of the headaches of user modding like compatability, minimizing the necessity of installation/uninstallation, and reducing list length. Some mods are very script/performance intensive and when combined with others can make the game unplayable on some low end machines. It would be helpful if we could break them up per character for instance. Or for a certain playstyle. Or for those NSFW mods you don't want to play in public. Some examples for me are my straight up hack n' slasher warrior that's pretty straightforward, my stealthy assassin/thief/agent, mage(s), and survivalist. The warrior tab would be the shortlist and relatively undemanding modwise so I could load it quick and jump right in without much hassle. The stealth tab would be for my sneaky people and focus on stealth and ai behaviour mods. The magic tab would have oodles of spell mods and maybe some cool animations/special effects. The survivalist would probably be the most ridiculous; I like to include weather mods, realistic needs (or similar mod), frostfall and other stuff to make the game challenging and immersive. As you can tell, together that list would be long, might involve installing/uninstalling between saves, rife with conflicts, and a general pain. Split up, it would be simpler and give us more freedom. I think this would be a sweet premium feature and maybe give more reason for people to sign up. Or even limit the tabs in the free version to say 2-3 and unlimited (or at least 10) in the premium client. Sound like a good idea? Edit: Note to moderators, feel free to move this topic to NMM suggestions. I found it about 30 seconds after I posted -_-

My signature and it says I'm a lwful good human wizard lvl 3. Trapper is good enough I suppose. Lawful Good is okay. Laws are good to keep most from killing and pillaging and working towards common goals and interests though it must always serve the people and not the other way around. No corrupt gov'ts thank you. I am a human. I find hunter or rogue to be more my style than a wizard. Magic has always been far to fantasized and overt for my tastes. Probably cuz I rely on strength from within more than physical tools. I dunno.

CHSBHC Body, Breast and Butt Physics Mod
Glaurung26 replied to CherryHotaling's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Hello, Awesome work on the mod thus far! Enjoying it. Sorry if this was answered somewhere but the physics aren't scaling with the weight slider for some reason. They're super jiggly for the whole range instead of increasing/decreasing. Is there maybe a specific file that's corrupted? Any ideas would be appreciated :) Thanks!
