Does not find Battletech for me either.. Actually cannot get this thing to scan all my game drives either.. I have 100's of games installed on my system, 8 drives, but it tells me it found 29 games...

I do not think footprints would add any performance issues at all to be honest... Look at all the other games and sims out there that do that and it really has no impact on the game.. Shadows, Anti-Aliasing.. those are the big ones for performance.. I do hope someone does a footprint mod though... Now I notice it all the time...

I have been playing Skyrim for a while and something kept bothering me but I just could not put my finger on it. With all the nice scenery, graphics, attention to detail and so on I finally realized what was missing while playing a completely different game call Tom Clancy's Endwar. Skyrim for all its dazzle is missing FOOTPRINTS! So much of the land is snow covered yet no matter whether you are walking, on your horse or see other animals you never find or see footprints! And now of course, I cannot seem to get past that while playing.. The 'realism' aspect of what I am looking at is no longer there.. it now just looks fake because little nuances like that are missing.. Another I noticed was smoke from torches or someone's breath in cold regions.. Maybe I am just getting too picky.. but with all the graphics power our systems have today and the fact MANY other games do take the time to add these little things in, perhaps some devs will start to add these things because they add much more to the overall ambiance than you realize at first. Now that all being said, my request is obvious! A mod for footprints, a mod for smokey torches and etc... Any takers?
