I saw that before, too, but it's not the same thing. That mod lets the Brotherhood ally with the NCR even if Hardin is in control. It doesn't affect the quest from Mr. House at all. Exactly... what we need is a mod that would allow Mr. House to ally with the BoS. I emphatically support this because the notion that I am required to betray and murder one of two allies is, frankly, an absurd departure from the way that I've played my character thus far. This is about "The House Always Wins V" and how it makes a "good" character technically impossible. I mean really... I have to betray and murder one of two parties that trust me? It just doesn't make sense, especially given the erudite nature of House's purported beliefs. Also, Veronica. I'm going to massacre all the people she loves and still be able to talk to her? I've read elsewhere that the GECK files for the game include a quest marker labeled "(Optional) Convince Mr. House that the Brotherhood of Steel is not a threat" or some such thing. So it may have been planned at some point during development, even if it is presently defunct. I can't really express how much this would improve the experience for me. I feel very bad executing Mr. House, and I feel worse killing off the BoS (even if they are kind of douchey).
