  1. You're obviously right, and thanks for the clarification. Seems everyone of the styles are working as they should now. If I may ask; do you have any good recommendations for mods that add more face presets? I've been wanting to try something like the "AT Malcolm Grey Warden of Sacred Ashes and Warden Calling", but the description was quite messy and the toolset seems a little daunting, so I thought some presets would be simpler for making some new characters.
  2. Thank you so much, that narrows it down a bit. I (now, after your input) used Terra_Ex's CharGenMorph Compiler to fix it. When starting the game up again and making a new character, I now only have (the original?) 8 presets to work with. Though it looked like all the eye options and hair options were still there and working great. It looked like there were maybe double that number (15/16 or so) of presets before running CharGenMorph Compiler. If there is any way to keep more presets than the 8 I now have, I'd really like to know, but it's no big deal. One more thing: I am no modder/programmer, but would like to contribute in some small way. I would like to make a simple and straightforward list of essential mods for newcomers, and how to install them (chronologically, if and when necessary) before playing, since looking for such a list myself on the forums didn't yield any decisive results, only scattered threads with lists people have tried, on different forums and threads. Could maybe be a sticky later on? Example, in order of "importance": The Big Four, fixing the game to work as it should, for purists 1. Qwinns Fixpack (description/what it does) - [download link] 2. DA Rules Fixpack 3. Morrigan Restoration Fixpack 4. Silverite Mine Bug Fix Other mods 5. Dragon Age Mutator 6. Dialogue Tweaks 7. DLC in Awakening and Awakening Fixes 8. Forced Deathblows 9. Lock Bash Mods you will need to download, install and then merge with CharGenMorph Compiler 10. CC Extra Tints and Tones 11. More Hairstyles 12. Pineappletree's Vibrant Colors 13. Tucked Hair 14. CharGenMorph Compiler 15. Extended Dog Talents 16. Extended Dog Slot 17. Madd Gift Guide ...and so on. The list could be tried and tested, and people could provide input for rearranging the list if necessary, and mods could be color coded in green, yellow and red to show compatibilty/issues people have reported. I know I would have greatly appreciated such a list when I first lurked the forums, but any thoughts are welcome.
  3. I'm testing some mods for compatibility and everything has worked great so far, except for one minor thing - wondered if anyone else have experienced this: When I'm creating a new character, clicking the first (top) Character Preset Slider to the right 8 times works fine, but doing it one more time (9th click) results in CTD. Mods installed: Advanced Tactics by Anakin Ancient Elven Boots Fix by Flamin Jesus and AND04 Awakening Silverite Mines Bugfix by Terra_Ex Better Sex Cutscenes - WIP by Luchaire Bidelles Cosmetics by Bidelle CC Extra Tints and Tones by Jaylo Circles Be Gone by 4Aces DA Rules Fixpack Dialogue Tweaks by Avaraen DLC in Awakening and Awakening Fixes by KigenAngelo Dragon Age Mutator 014 by TheMutator Dragon Age Redesigned by Dracomies Extended Dog Talents Extra Dog Slot by Dheuster Forced Deathblows by MachDelta JB3textures by reative Madd Gift Guide by MaddBomber83 More Hairstyles by kzelsama Morrigan Restoration Patch Dialog Fixpack Natural Bodies all in one by see description Pineappletree s Vibrant Colors by Pineappletree Pixelated Shaders begone by blaidd Qwinns Fixpack Respecification DAO by Aaron Christian Skip the Fade by hdhd Tucked Hair White Teeth by JOG ZDF Dialog Fix - formerly Zevran Dialog Fix by ejoslin Any input would be greatly appreciated.
  4. But you answered, which is the most important thing. I'm doing a playthrough right now, trying out this list with some other mods and I'm very greatful to you for answering this.
  5. I'm playing now, and the only thing I've noticed so far: - I have the Helm of The Deep equipped and it shows on my characters head as normal. - Whenever I save or quicksave, the helm is gone from my characters head, and I can see it back in the inventory, and have to equip it again every time I save. - Save again, and the same thing happens. Minor annoyance, but maybe someone knows how to fix it? EDIT: Nevermind. Seems that all head gear goes on in combat mode and off when not in combat mode, guess it is one of the mods including the small thing where one can play without the headgear.
  6. Thanks. I'll go for this list and see how I fare: Installed and activated with NMM v. 045.5 beta: 1 - Qwinns Fixpack 2 - Da Rules Fixpack 3 - Morrigan Restoration Fixpack (Terra_Ex) 4. Awakening Silverite Mine Bug Fix (Terra_Ex) (Not planning on romancing Alistair so not installing IRS.) 5 - ZDF Dialog Fix - formerly Zevran Dialog Fix by ejoslin 6 - Ancient Elven Boots Fix by Flamin Jesus and AND04 7 - Dialogue Tweaks 8 - DLC in Awakening and Awakening Fixes 9 - Dragon Age Mutator, not with NMM, but with its own installer: a) Display rewarded and stolen items b) Make shapeshifting immediately and without downtime c) Disable Autoleveling for companions d) Stealing without cooldown e) Rare random travel encounters are more likely to happen Again, installed and activated with NMM, one by one: 10 - Skip the Fade 11 - Dragon Age Redesigned 12 - Extra Dog Slot 13 - Forced Deathblows (recommended: Lieutenants Plus) 14 - JB3Textures 15 - JB3Textures - SweetFX for JB3 (NMM says that the mod already exists since the rar archive is named JB3Textures and not SweetFX or similar. I chose "no" so as to not overwrite the former, it should then be installed beside or "on top" of the main files of JB3 I presume?) 16 - White Teeth 17 - Madd Gift Guide 18 - Extended Dog Talents Now, let's play.
  7. Sure, no worries. I'll just start up a new game and try out different things from your list.
  8. Rest? How dare they - we need our mods right now! Use the whip! :armscrossed:
  9. I'm also doing a new playthrough, so I'm excited to see what your results will be. My goals are similar to yours, want it to be as close to the original as possible, only with fixed content and maybe some added textures.
  10. Hi, Long time lurker here, never posted before.
