  1. I'll second this. I was killed by a sniper in HH (who gave them AMR's?) and all I saw was my head exploding.
  2. It's the same way for me. I haven't played NV in a little over a week, because some judicious quicksaving corrupted my file. Starting over again is a bit daunting, and I haven't been up to it. So, I just keep downloading and installing mods, but I haven't actually played.
  3. Money isn't even a real concern. If you have the money to pay for console gaming, then you should have the money to buy a PC capable of running modern games. The myth that PC gaming is only for "them thar rich folk" is based in ignorance. OP: If you look at all the mods available and think, "wow, that would make my games so much more enjoyable," then I would seriously consider it. Mods can extend the life of any game dozens of times over. I played FO:NV for about 25 hours without mods. If it weren't for mods, I probably wouldn't have played it again. Now I'm somewhere near 400 hours played. The price I paid for this computer, gauged against the number of hours I get out of playing moddable games, far outweighs the costs of other forms of modern entertainment.
  4. Mods. There's no in-game way to do it, though you might be able to use the console.
  5. It's not just looks; his personality matches that of Mr. Hughes. Hell, even the painting in House's resort is a parody of a famous portrait of Hughes. It's completely intentional. You're supposed to realize the connection.
  6. Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy? Just go to Black Mountain, kill everything there, and boom, you've made 20,000 caps.
  7. I've been trying to track one down, but has anyone found a compiled list, preferably updated for DM and HH?
  8. As in the title, FOMM freezes whenever I try to open the package manager. Reinstalling it, and NV, have failed to correct the problem. Anyone have a similar problem?
  9. Most: Pulling out a .44 Magnum and putting a round between Caesar's eyes. Least: Realizing that by giving Boone an Anti-Materiel Rifle, and using one myself, I had won the game at level 14. The rest was just a montage of dismemberment.
  10. Thanks for the MASSIVE spoiler. Seriously, this is supposed to be a spoiler-free forum. First of all, huh what? How can you not already know that? Second, he's not at fault. Read the name of the section he's posting this in.
  11. That slogan on the wallpaper sounds more IG than SM.
  12. I spend most if my time in the IC Market District and Skingrad. I kill everything in Rockmilk Cave and Memorial Cave, which lasts till maybe 3 or 4 pm game time (I actually start at midnight, just for fun), fast travel to the Market District, take the cool looking things to my Skingrad house, wait until the caves reset, and do it all again. Oh, and the arena, Minotaur Lords don't slaughter themselves. Well, maybe with a frenzy spell, but thats another story...
