    I realize this thread's over two years old, but I don't care. Bump because I'm having the exact same problem and I can't find a single solution.

    The creepiest moment for me was when I was at Smith Caseys Garage. A random radscorpion (small) came running up to me, no problem right? So I pulled out Xuonlong and shot it a couple of times and it was about to sting me so I backed up, then a Yao Guai comes out of nowhere and killed the radscorpion! I had animal friend so it didnt attack me but it scared the crap out of me.
