I've had this issue this morning and while looking through my mod list I've seen this bug report for most of the mods I'm using. I had a feeling that it was improved UI or Modfixer but these weren't useful after patch 1 so I don't even have them in my load order anymore, after reading this I decided to delete them from the mods folder itself and my game works once again! Thank you for the tip!
