  1. Smart guns in Cyberpunk 2077 are a fantastic aid for those of us who struggle with aiming due to various reasons. However, the current "all-or-nothing" lock-on mechanism could be improved to offer a more dynamic gameplay experience.

    Just as a traditional shotgun can hit more distant targets—albeit with decreased effectiveness—it would be great if smart weapons also allowed us to lock onto targets that are farther away, but with a sliding scale for accuracy based on the distance to the target.


    Here are two potential implementations:


    1. **Randomized Lock-on:** As the target moves farther away, there could be a percentage-based chance that some projectiles won't lock on, adding an element of unpredictability.


    2. **Looser Guidance:** Alternatively, the farther away a target is, the less accurate the projectile guidance could be, making it harder to hit distant targets but not impossible.


    This change could apply to all smart weapons, not just shotguns. A logarithmic accuracy falloff would offer a more nuanced experience, making smart weapons even more engaging to use.

    The current system, where there's a flat "no-lock-on" distance beyond which you can't hit anything, feels limiting and somewhat unrealistic. Implementing a more dynamic range and accuracy mechanism would make the gameplay more versatile and enjoyable.



  2. I don't know if anyone else has this, but sometimes when i enter a new cell, npcs close to me will sometimes follow me in. Well, when i first bought Breezehome, I decided I"d put down some shock runes to see if they last. I exited, returned, and I didn't see them anymore. I thought they were gone. Much later, i was going back inside my house, and Sigmund, (i think is his name) decided to follow me in, without asking of course. Turns out the rune was still active, albeit invisible. Sigmund is no more, and now i have a dead body in my house. Great. Anybody else have an experience like this??

    HAHHAHA.

     

    Yes man that little punk ass girl in Whiterun followed me into my house and insulted me. *fist shake*

  3. Also can I request that no one under 18 read these? I'm pretty sick of hearing high pitched voices on lets plays on youtube, I DON'T want that in my game, lol.

     

    Keep this project for people with adult voices that won't irk me, :D

  7. Im pretty sure you do get a bonus for headshots, if only a slight one. Mammoths seem to get stunned by headshots. And there has been many occassions when Ive seen headshots do significantly more damage. I dont think it shouldbe changed, but you can mod to your hearts content I suppose.

     

    How sure are you of this man? I have a pretty big hunch that you're incorrect. Please prove me wrong.

  9. what i imagine could be done easy with the CK is just cutting to the enemy when the arrow hits him and just have him fall in slow-mo... that would be better than what we have now atleast..

     

    I don't think that's very easy.

     

    Actually, orienting the camera on the enemy but pointing at you and slowing time! Definitely an alternative method that would look equally cool!

  10. Hello Is there anyone that can make a UI mod that has Icon bars like wow? I'm a handicap gamer that can't use a keyboard and a mod like this would be great for me and other handicap gamers. Something with like an attack bar or an ico I can click to go to my inventory and etc.?

  11. I've always loved the hit sounds for long range archery shots. They really make help give a visceral sense of impact. I thought why not take hit indicators one step further.

     

    Much like the kill animations for melee there should be one for archery. A slow motion view following the arrows from bow to skull with all the bloods and screaming in which to relish. Some of my scattered thoughts on this concept include:

     

    -I don't know if the game can tell where you arrow is going to hit as you let go of the string, (though it seems like it since enemies like to Matrix dodge arrows) but this would allow for an on-release kill cam, you basic let-go-of-string-go-straight-to-cinematic-carnage.

    -If this isn't possible, maybe an instant replay of the shot as soon after releasing the bow string as possible.

    -I think it would also be a cool feature to have the ability to trigger the arrow cam at will, just for fun. (It's kind of cheating, but it would still be pretty gratifying to use, a la the Archery's slow time perks)

    also, I love the idea of a Nemesis. Getting purposefully jumped in the game is pretty exhilarating in the few instances that it does happen.
