  1. I'd like to create a eyebrow-less option for my character. I figured that'd be easy; open an existing eyebrow texture I cared less for, and make the whole alpha channel black. Getting the .dds file to save with alpha channel intact was a bit of a challenge, but I managed. But, still, if I choose that specific eyebrow option, it still looks like the eyebrow set I used as a template, and for the life of me, I can't figure out why. I can't find the original shape in any of the channels - R, G, B, alpha, or otherwise. Any ideas would be appreciated :-)
  2. True enough :) And an alternative plan is already forming.
  3. I was afraid it'd be the latter...Guess I'll need to delve into scripting :-)
  4. Hello everyone! I was wondering if someone can help me answer the following question; in what language are batch files written? E.g., are they Papyrus or are they 'just' strings of consecutive console commands? I tried to Google and search for the answer, to no avail. If it's the latter, is there a posibility to introduce randomness? My idea is to have a random command executed based on a random integer between 1 and 50.
  5. Sorry to bump this, but I was searching for similar things and this thread helped me greatly :D
  6. I figure that this topic's title says enough, but when I go underwater, it's completely opaque - I can't see anything. I'm guessing a mod did it, but has anyone heard of the problem or has experienced it?
  7. And, here we go, real work! I've started with the coat. This'll be based on the Thalmor Robes. Though I'm far from being happy with it, here's how it looks like at the moment: http://hellwolve.kikaimegami.com/screenshots/skyrim/wbb1_1.jpg http://hellwolve.kikaimegami.com/screenshots/skyrim/wbb1_2.jpg It's still a Work In Progress. I'll make my own Normal Maps and I've still got a load of details I want/need to add But I hope this'll get more people interested and following ;-)
  8. Looks rather awesome! Looking forward to the release. If only to have new meshes to play with ;)
  9. Thanks for offering help :) I think that what you mentioned was also wrong, but I won't mention the most important mistake - it's too silly  So, I fixed it and I now know how to retexture armor :) I hope to show some real work (instead of the exisiting texture inverted...) soon!
  10. As mentioned elsewhere, I've decided to start modding again, for Skyrim. I've picked a name for my project; the Wolfbane Brotherhood Armor. It'll be leather armour, inspired by Brotherhood of the Wolf, mostly, as well as Innistrad, highway men and, ofcourse, my own twisted imagination. However, I need some help; I can't even get my proof-of-concept to work. First things first; I'm going to make the coat. This'll be based on the Thalmor Robes. I've extracted the meshes and textures and changed the former with NifSkope to use the new textures. They show up correctly there. I've edited both the '0' and '1' mesh. However, ingame, it still looks like the old Thalmor Robes. Can anyone assisst me?
  11. I've made a few mods for Morrowind and I'd like to get back into the modding game for Skyrim, mostly because of the inspiring work by hothtrooper44 and Omesean. Ideas of what to do first have been toyed with a few and I now know what I want to do; a set inspired by the movie Brotherhood of the Wolf. For that to happen as I want, I'll need a new/custom mesh/model and I hope someone out there will step up to fulfill my request. What I'd need is the mesh, UV mapped, rigged and ready to go into Skyrim - making textures and plug-ins are my forté, but I can't model or map ;) Anyone willing to help me? Eternal grattitude and appearing in credits will be yours ;) :)
