  1. This problem just started tonight. When I boot up FNV it goes through the initial startup routine and, after clicking on "Continue" the screen goes black and I get the following error report: FalloutNV has encountered a problem...etc. When I drill down to the technical details it shows the following file as the culprit: c:\Docume~!\Tim\Locals~1\Temp\c64d_appcompat.txt The last time I played the game was last night and there were no problems. Could a Steam update have caused this? Haven't made any mods since the last time it work. My computer is running XP Pro with an ASUS motherboard [A8N-Slip Premium] and two NVIDIA GF 7600 GT graphics cards running in SLIP configuration. Have plenty of memory and haven't made any other changes in my system. Any suggestions?
  2. Yes, just started having the same problem. I'm running the Steam version FNV on an AMD machine with XP Pro and minimum mods. Won't list them here because up until yesterday, FNV was working fine (the last mod was installed weeks ago). Then, in the middle of the game, it crashed and I got Window's "Blue Screen of Death" and my computer rebooted. Since then, FNV all the way through the introduction screen, but when I select "Continue" I get the usual starting screens (with tips about the game), then I'm dropped back to the desktop. Obviously one of the files got corrupted. I'm very far into the game and don't want to lose anything. I've saved my Saved files and my Data files. But I'm still concerned that I will have to go back to the beginning if I do a reinstall. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
  3. Does anybody know if there a version of the Brurpo Femaile Body Replacer (Nude and Underwear) for FNV? Or will the version for FO3 work?
