  1. place the nif in meshes/characters/hair and the DDS in textures/characters/hair if the folders don't exist then you'll have make them open CS go to character>hair right click make a new hair call it anything you want,same for the name put a tick in playable and click add NIF file,browse to Nif file in /characters/hair click textures and do same browse to /characters/hair click ok open your races select body data on races you want to have your new hair click character>hair again and drag your new hair into race you want it for when done click ok and save esp as mynewhair (example) load oblivion click the esp and you should have new hair without replacing any of the old :)
  2. well to be honest i gave up on trying to get DR6 to work for me,because i couldn't get any of the gore or stuff working either (that and the swaying and bobbing put me off) looking in console it kept saying something failed to initialise what i did was install DR6 and all the latest files needed,yet if you look at NIFSE it say's the latest file is not compatabile with DR6 and it needs one of the older ones to work,i think it could be that. allso check out out the official thread for some fixed nif files for throwing,stops some crashes in the game. at moment i'm using DR5,my gore patch (more blood decals better looking blood because i mucked up with original and UV) hope that works :) @pptom, try pressing esc it sometimes fixes some scripts hanging
  3. ive figured it out :) load the default human head into blender or 3ds max or whatever else you use but don't import the skeleton,take off any skin attributes,so its just a static mesh. set its co-ordinates to 0,0,0 if you have your own mesh load this and align it best you can to this head,then delete the original head export it as a nif load it in nifskope right click it and export as obj load an existing working nif (like humanhead.nif) and import your head over top save it as your own (for example myhead.nif) use the conformulator to make the tri and egm (don't forget to copy an egt and rename it) all should now be working without the floating head :) and when you get a moment i'd appreciate a link to the mouth fix tutorial thanks :)
  4. thats the exact same problem i have too,floating head above teeth ears and eyes in CS,i'm not sure whats causing it yet but when and if i figure it out ill let you know ASAP
  5. on our forums (joint run) we have a news bot that posts dayly,on various games i am not sure if it has anything to do with steam or not though. we do of course have our regular news posters,its just that sometimes its harder to find then most. websites http://www.resurrection-studios.net/ if you would like to look just a thought,hope its usefull

  8. hmmm that happens to me when i usually forget to add normals. settings i use for normal dds export are DDS 3 explicit alpha 1 mitmap (not sure if that helps any) still messing with exporter settings for collision,once i get it fixed ill send you new model oh just to note on tessaiga i sent you i detached the blade and made the material i.d 3 was planning ahead to see if i could get the texture animated,thought would make it easier still can't get on esscentric,keeps timing out on me :( edit:scrap that last one its my ISP got on via proxy
  9. no normals :) or if they are they need naming same as texture but with _n i.e batman.dds and normal batman_n.dds

  11. thanks,probably whats causing the lag too i bet,ill look into it i did yeah sorry forgot to comment,looking good so far :D just wondering,maybe a little cheep but how about a fuzzy purple line around the blade part? http://i.ytimg.com/vi/FqBAO_r2H7A/0.jpg getting late here for me in U.K (03:36) so i'm going to call it a night night all
  12. node and fur i know about lag might be my fault and way i exported it to a Nif allso when dropped it seems to float in air (not sure why i had this problem before,but forgot how i fixed it....think it had something to do with my exporter settings ill have a look)

  15. awsome :) ok heres the tessaiga,ive not included a test esp as i'm still messing with it ive included a tessaiga with a flame in too but the flame will need tweeking in nifskope dragonscale texture,diamond and regular included :) http://www.resurrection-studios.net/wolve/Tessaiga.rar edit:idea behind flame was for yokai/demon aura as it leaves particle effects when striking
