  1. you wouldnt be able to weight the consequences of the actions

It could be easily avoided. One thing is what you say, one another is what you do.

And you can also set different types of dialogues in the same game. Not all of them have to be time limited.

The only thing is that you wouldnt be able to weight the consequences of the words you say. And this is more ralistic.

All depends on when to use these dialogues, and I see that there are possible bad choice. For example you shouldn't have to make a final decision in a time limited dialogue. But if the player starts to argue with an NPC it could be nice to make these dialogues more challenging.

The real word interruption could be avoided with a "pause", but this pause need to hide the lines, otherwise this will be a way to avoid the time constrain.

guess that kinda makes sense i just like to take things slower ^_^ to each his own yes?

  2. in the long run that would probably be a bad idea you wouldnt be able to weigh the consequences of the actions your about to choose theres that and if something should happen in real life that interrupts your game (phone ringing or somebody hits the doorbell to name a couple) i dont think it would be all that fun to come back to a dead character
  3. pin the blame on EA my friend once again they tend to cut corners and make the game developers and such rush so they can meet their pitiful deadline my guess is mhairi wasnt originally supposed to die (as evidence of the fact she has an approval bar they may have forgotten to remove) but EA prolly threatened bioware with the banhammer if they did'nt hurry up and finish the game, they have no patience alot of EA sold games tend to be like this. There are several areas in awakening that you can tell were rushed. They could have added so much more if given 3 more months. I'm starting to actually avoid EA titles now for fear i'm going to waste my money on a half baked game where they try to hide the games flaws with the graphics for absolute shame.(dragon age was not one of those it was well worth the 40 dollars i spent probably the best rpg game ive ever played graphic and storywise. awakening was worthwhile too but its so obvious where they cut corners that it just makes me facepalm)
  4. lets see i disapprove of the chantry to name a few reasons 1: They control templars by addicting them to lyrium 2: they lock all the mages up in a tower cant really blame like 75% of the tower mages becoming blood mages because they want to be free 3: they pretty much destroyed the elves culture and way of life basically forcing them into servitude or being wanderers all because the elves refused to allow them to build a chantry in thier lands. basically they're the same as the medieval catholic church yeah my opinion of them isnt too high if they cant control it they destroy it plain and simple
  5. I really like the look of the SWORD in the second shot! I can't quite tell if it's supposed to be the same blade in both, but I would close the handguard down to fit tighter around the grip, instead of flared-out the way it appears in the first shot. Makes it look more like an épée, but with heft... Sweet!

well not too insane that would just ruin the game lol 1 hitting everything does get boring after awhile uhhh i meant to reply to the post right above me DX

  6. not sure if this has been asked before but, i was wondering if anyone would be willing to make a mod that allowed long swords daggers maces etc to be placed at the hip rather than on the back. kind of as if the pc was using a belt or scabbard to put the weapon in. It just seems slightly odd that a rouge would put thier daggers on thier back rather than at the hip where they would be more readily accessible.

    why thank you very much
