[Fallout 3 CTDs at every opportunity]

Well I would like to start by thanking the guys that fixed my CTD at level-up problem, but now I have another issue. My game seems to want to crash at every opportunity. Not only during autosave, sleeping, entering/exiting rooms, but even if I just stand in one spot for a while and do nothing, BAM.....CTD. So I'm thinking that it might have to do with my load order, but I'm not sure. What do you guys think?

This interests myself as well, I have always been a fan of Sephiroth since Playstation One's Final Fantasy VII. Would love to see this happen. Even better make him as a companion or even a player-usable race!

I haven't seen any requests for something like this, and it definetly doesn't exist. I tried my own hand at it and failed miserably. I was wondering if it were possible for an experienced modder to replace Liberty Prime with the Action Abe action figure? Of course the textures would NOT look right on something of that size, the resolution would have to be raised majorly. These things I don't know how to accomplish, I seem to be an incredibly slow learner when it comes to GECK, GIMP, and Blender. Just think about it for a minute: a 50 foot tall robotic Abraham Lincoln freeing us from the opression of the Enclave!

Have not had reports on any level up problems with any xCALIBR mod.

 

xCALIBRuniverse BOE makes a text change to the Mysterious Stranger Perk, so there might be a conflict there.

 

Beyond that, you are loading both the Book of Earache and Munitions shop mods. That is bad.

 

But doesn't the Book Of Earache expand on the munitions shop? o_O

 

EDIT: I just noticed you updated The Book Of Earache recently, I guess I'll try updating and installing your new patch for Ling's Pretty Things, since I installed that one quite recently too. After that I guess I'll untick the munitions shop and create a new merged patch. Wish me luck!

 

UPDATE: Finally have my game working fully, I can level up without incident. Thank you everyone who replied, and most of all thank you EARACHE42 for your updates to BOE which fixed my game! :D

Creating a merged patch didn't have any effect, I still freeze on exiting the level-up menu :wallbash: I would p*ss on a spark plug right now if I thought it would do any justice.

Rearranging the .esm 's before the .esp 's didn't work, but didn't cause further problems. I guess I'll have to try this "merged patch" thing, which I'll probably fail at and mess up my game further. -__-

 

EDIT: If anyone can tell me what mods I should merge in this list, it would save me much time, coffee, and Tylenol xD

You mean all my .esm 's have to be before my .esp 's? Even if they depend on loading after certain other mods?

I have several major overhaul mods running on my Fo3, all of which worked perfectly and without any problems. Once I made it to the part where the Enclave captures you after retrieving the GECK, I now cannot level-up without my Fo3 locking up. I can go through the whole leveling process of distributing points and choosing a perk, but as soon as I choose my perk and hit the OK button it locks up on me. Sometimes it will CTD, most of the time it will just freeze entirely. I have to deactivate half the mods I have running, level up, save, then reactivate. I'm hoping it's only a problem with my load order. Also, this didn't seem to happen until I installed IMCN (Imp's More Complex Needs) but if I deactivate it I still have the problem.
