  1. If you have many threads made by people being frustrated with steam and having issues and you still dont understand them, then what else are you?

Here you have a 6 pages long thread where people are talking about all their worries and issues with steam and you still dont understand...if that isnt having a wall before your eyes then what ?

Ah right, becouse you dont have a problem with steam noone should.

Its about understanding more then just yourself and your opinion.

"i dont understand" is already a clear statement, where the problem isnt that you dont understand (since people clearly state having problems, writting it here), you just continue ignoring everything.

They key word here is 'i'.

But you probably wont understand that, right...so im waiting how you going to twist the meaning of my post.

  2. From experience and browsing many threads, usually the real trolls are the people who dont have problems with steam or skyrim or w/e.

They make a thread where they state they dont understand why people are having issues, when there are many topics made about them, wich already tells me they have a wall before their eyes.

These threads are solely made only for pushing their opinion on others, best part is many times they dont even realize it themselfs, they have that urge to tell everyone to chill off and stop making antipropaganda on steam/skyrim/whatever, to stop whine about this and that, while doing exactly the same.

Whatever you say they twist your original idea and use it against you...then you end up having a 30page thread where are people catching eachothers words, in a neverending circle.

Better just to ignore these topics.

  3. im just coming to add my 2 cents here, so flame away if you want... but after reading all this anti-steam Propaganda, i'd like to take a second to share the perspective of a LONG-TIME steam supporter.

    /flame on

    I stoped reading rite there.

    /flame off

Its not antisteam propaganda its people having issues with it...accept it or continue crying about people crying.

  4. No job atm, hopefully after new year comes something up.

    No GF...no need for that.

Yeah i have basicaly no life.. playing a bit skyrim and spending the rest of the day with drawing/digital painting and surfing trough nexus and some other sites.

  5. Silver hand is just a filler for the companion werewolf part, thats why there arent any wild werewolfs...the whole thing is half-baked work just as with many other things.

You are werewolf without any purpose and

even Aela admits that, after your first transformation you ask her what does it mean to be a werewolf..she just says "Nothing untill you decide what to do"

..thing is there isnt much to be done at all other then killing stuff and running arround.

The whole werewolf thing begs for some kind of society, hunting in packs...just something creative, to have a purpose and feel you are part of something awesome.

  6. I can see both of sides do have a point, but if you have to limit yourself from using certain paths that the game is offering, why make them availiable at all.

When i have the possiblity to try out smithing, enchanting, alchemy that the game offers to me, why i should not do so...well becouse the game will go unbalanced, but that isnt the players fault, but those who made it.

  7. @stars2heaven

Not using any of these and the combat is hard...but there is a difference between hard as in more hp and more pewpew and hard where you have more advanced combat system and actual bosses that feel like bosses not just by having a lot of hp and power, but unique behavior with abilities, instead of recycling the same thing with different name...if you know what i mean.

  8. Yeah, this is one of the things i see no step forward after many years from oblivion and frankly i believe it will never be that way...if it is lack of creativity, incompetence or just plain not caring, their games always end up this way.
  9. My habit is, that I'm almost neverhappy with my outfit, so I spend half of the time by searching for new ones. Then I notice the gloves are clipping and it all begins again.

Exactly the same as me lol...im obssessed to see new clothing on my toon, there isnt a minute im not trying out some other clothing, also another habit is the nevereding feeling to do all these animation that npcs do...sitting anywhere, leaning at a wall...well anything they do, that i cant....i hate that feeling. :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash:

  10.

Did I miss something? This isn't a mod request, I'm not against the idea of a more lizard like lizard people.

The way they are however was no mistake or oversight on bethesda's part, it was intended and backed by the lore in game if you care to read.

I don't expect or care if everyone thinks/feels the same as I do, I'm merely pointing out that it does make sense in the way it is presented. If that is a problem then post a mod request in the appropriate forum, I'll be sure to keep my speculations out of it.

Did i also miss something?...was just showing what i liked in morrowind since thats where the screenshot is from.

Im also merely pointing out that not everyone shares the same feeling of them as you or other people do and your suggesting to wrap our mind arround that wont change anything about it.

  11. At the end of the day they are still half man half lizard. In the lore they stem from a branch of elves do they not? This means they have mammal like qualities I guess.

I've seen no references towards Argonians laying eggs rather than giving live birth as well. They are people with lizard faces and skin, I dunno why that's so hard to wrap your minds around.

Well maybe because not everyone thinks/feels the same way as you...how about trying to wrap your mind arround that.

I loved them in morrowind, they were really unique.

  12. its funny how people complain about skyrim's repetitive quests and use like two examples from oblivion to counter the whole game. oblivion was incredibly repetitive, and to add insult to injury, not very many quests in the first place. with so few quests, it was a bit easier to make them have a storyline if that makes sense.

of course there's no story to radiant quests. do i really need a story behind "i lost my ring in a cave. can you get it for me?"

the only guild i say had a better storyline compared to its skyrim equivalent is the fighters guild. those were cool quests.

everything else is better in skyrim. bethesda busted their balls for three years making this game. stop bitching about the small things and adore the gigantic amazing things! >:(

Sorry, but do not tell people what to do, just because you dont agree with them.

They used 2 exaples from oblivion because they prety much cover a lot of quests in skyrim with the exception of a few better done.

If bethesda would really busted their balls, things would have been better...a lot better.

Im adoring the world they created, its wonderful and it brings a feeling of respect to me, but also at the same time is very shallow.

Skyrim is a good game, i have a lot of fun but after many years of waiting one would await more then recycling of the same old system with some additions.

  13. Look awesome.

But, once again... reptiles are not supposed to have breasts. (you will never find mammary glands on any reptile IRL)

Im not really bothered by the breasts, i miss more the unique movement they had from morrowind...i wanted to play one in skyrim but even though they look awesome, its still just human body with lizard head and tail, somehow i couldnt get into it.

  14. You give them everything in return for nothing.

This is what I fear. A very popular mod gets downloaded a lot. Valve puts a price tag on it. Modder does not get anything in return, or modder does not want to have a price on it. Since the mod is now pay to download - it would be illegal to distribute on other websites, like the Nexus (unless the modder takes it back from Valve). Am I on the right track?

I guess that would be the worst case scenario...but then again if they piss people off they stop doing mods at all or only on private closed websites, they wouldnt get much from that, but they definately speculate on something it seems.

  15. This is my simple personl opinion regarding this. You give them everything in return for nothing. They say "we might" give you something, but that's a very thin might and chances for that to actualy happen are almost null. When a popular mode is shared over at their workshop, they'll find a way to make a similar one that will actualy work with their workshop, or at least work better(more stable) and there's this:

You grant to Valve a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, assignable right and license to (a) use, copy, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, modify, and create derivative works from Your Contribution in any media, (b) identify you as the source of the Contribution, and © sublicense these rights, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

OMFG!! They pretty much used every single word available in the dictionary to clarify that.

So basicaly, they can copy your mod, make it work with their workshop and then distribute trough it and earn cash?

    Nice scheme.

  16. It seems like some of you guys on this forum need to grab an axe and go out and live in the wilderness for a couple of weeks. Talk about immservice! And no CTDs!

    You mean... go out-side? :psyduck:

    Whats that?

  17. Nice story. And another proof that we'll desperatly need a descent Vampire Overhaul.

Let's pray that Madmole will make a revive of his Unholy Darkness.. Man,that was awesome ..

Yeah his mod was really good, i remember speaking to him about how the vampires will be in skyrim, because i didnt really believed they will be any better then oblivion, he was positive...well i wonder what he would say now.

  18. I would, but im one of these people who need a strong immersion feel for it...not just "hai! ya are hungrey, time to eat" messages, but also animations following them to let you know you character is weak/thirsty/needs sleep...wich will affect they way you move or see etc.

Then skyrim must be a really big disappointment to you because the game is missing a whole lot of immersiveness but I do agree with you. It probably would had to be done the way you say seeing there is no pip-boy to alert you.

I like the game but yes the immersiveness is one of those things that dissapoint me the most...not only that your body isnt reacting to the cold, you have also people talking trash to you all the time without respect, but that has been said already in another thread.

I cannot say im absolutely hardcore for these things, more on a basic level where they dont become a chore but rather fun...i just miss that my character isnt reacting to certain conditions.

I have to say i totaly miss the See you Sleep and Bathing mod from oblivion...i was so used to them and ofcourse the companion Vilja.

  19. I think it would be a nice addition to the immersion of the races, but considering what way beth is going, that will never happen.

Honestly i would much rather go to the text style quest system from morrowind, then fully voiced ones...would saved them a lot of work/money and they could spent their time on better things....just my opinion though.

I love KOTOR, still playing it from time to time...yeah the system of choices/different race voices would fit this game....no, actually this game desperately needs something like that...i have problem to play for more then 1hour, before getting bored again...knowing that nothing really matters what i do...or listening to the same rabble from guards or other people/races.
