  1. I never bother with the multi-quote function, it's a bit buggy. Usually I answer one post but instead of posting, I select all and copy then go back and reply to the second and paste in what I copied. Ok, no more book spoilers. Captain and coffee is like rocket fuel - very dangerous; you can get mighty drunk before you actually feel it but it is quite tasty. Tonight it will be Captain and Ginger Ale; no caffeine so I don't drink as much http://www.miccofl.net/Smileys/143.gif
  2. runscript zz_starmetal_sword will give you one of each type in the regular game, not sure if it will do it in Golems but it is worth a try.
  3. Check your profile, they still show up there.
  4. Dragon Age Dark Times ACT I gives you a colorful drake and three more companions as well.
  5. Or you could just use this: "Skip the Fade", (although you still have to fight the final battle with Sloth) and get all the XP and attribute points as if you had actually done everything. I'm sure it would help but currently I play offical campaigns only if I need references. I'm working on my own stand alone module, so I try to minimize the use of non Bioware's DLC Modules to avoid conflicts. I will download and test it though, to see if it cause any conflict to my mod. Thanks for the advise. "Skip the Fade" isn't exactly a new module. It's a script that let's you, well... "Skip" a section of the OC. It simply sets the plot-flags and adds the XP and attribute points as if you had done the things you would have done to get to the same point in the story. It opens the way for you to have each of the individual "Nightmare" fights to free the companion who were with you when you entered the Fade, and then the Boss Battle with Sloth. There is another version of Skip the Fade that comes with the Dragon Age Mutator 014 that skips everything but the game-crashing battle with Sloth.
  6. If Alistair actually knew who his mother really was he wouldn't even mention it since she and his father were only together that one time :whistling:
  7. That is not an error message. If you (the PC) die while the extra dog slot is in use, dog dies with you (in DA die means unconscious unless the whole party dies in which case you die, dog dies, everybody dies - Game Over or reload last save.)
  8. I was  all right, I wasn't I was drinking Cap't Morgan but I did feel your pain  So what happened? You might be able to help the next person...
  9. If I am installing a file with the .override extension, I drag and drop. If I am installing a mod to my core/override folder I either extract it there or copy and paste without using DAMM. I have never used DAMM to create a file with the .override extension so if your question pertains to that, someone else will have to answer.
  10. It isn't DA redesigned causing that, it isn't possible for that mod to do that. You could try using the console script runscript zz_arl_debug and see if you can reset the plot to where you are.
  11. I'm not sure exactly which armors they are (massive obviously) but I do recognize the red and black tint from the Universal Dye Kit which allows you to tint any armor with a tint map in game (the red and black is custom 1.)
  12. The mods in that list are six months old and while many are still useful the list doesn't include many of the great new mods out there. We now have Dragon Age Dark Times ACT I which is a must have mod. The list was made before my Dragon Age Kids mod was a snicker in the back of my head. If you really want a list though, the best one is The Top 100 Most Endorsed Files of All Time and then follow that with the Most Endorsed Mods of the Last Two Months. Happy modding
  13. You can collect enough over the course of the game to see you through without having to buy too many. Still, I make my own and use the console to give me a stack of 1000 - gets me through most games :whistling:
  14. As far as ranger goes, unfortunately I never figured out what mod was causing the bug in this pic but an army of critters was certainly useful: http://www.dragonagenexus.com/imageshare/images/1901964-1282242343.jpg My Wardens In Black armor and weapons mod allows the use of full size blades in both hands at any level. If that isn't to your liking and you know your way around the toolset, you can make any weapon you like the same way by using the Properties function and setting Special to "No Attributes Required."
  15. It can be made quickly enough. All you need to do is edit the "prereqlevel int" line in the abi_base.gda for Origins and the abi_gxa.gda in Awakenings for whatever talents/spells you want to change and make it what you want.
  16. Guide for installing/uninstalling/updating Mods for Dragon Age should get you started.
  17. You can't get someone else's mod to show in the toolset, only mods you create will be present in your database. You can open the files within their mod by browsing to it unless of course the modder has locked them. You will not be able to edit scripts made by another modder. Manage mod is short for Manage Module, which is something you create to separate different mods you have made that you may be working on.
  18. Ultimate setup? Hmmm, tough one. I usually play solo with a rogue-blood mage hybrid on nightmare with nightmare+, Slinks Ravage on max settings, an areadata.gda that sets the critter levels at lv 28-49 (I can go to lv 50), custom armor, chromactic arrows and I start at lv 28. I bring the companions along in cities and towns for the banter. The times I am forced to bring a party I use the H key and run on ahead and take care of business.
  19. Deep Roads add really nothing to the story and were just too long. You could have finished the story sooner without it (and you also proved my point). In-fact the Deep Roads is nothing more than a filler and a badly placed at that. There is no reward for it, no dark atmosphere that it is famous for, no urgency for finding Branka, unlike other quests. BioWare could have done better with this opportunity but they have missed their mark with this quest. The DR would have had more impact if it was more dangerous and there was a sense of fear. What would have worked is more random attacks by the darkspawn, instead of scripted places and better lighting, which the entire game lacked. Well, if you consider adding gollums and the legion of the dead to your army and getting to choose the dwarf king as no reward then yes, I suppose it is pointless. On the first few playthroughs it is dangerous, it only becomes tedious after you have it wired. You should try adding Dark Times and the Bloodworks to your game, they add much to the content and provide more real time space between your treks through the Deep Roads.
  20. I will confirm the spoiler tags working on the sites (at least on the DA Nexus anyway) as I have used them quite a few times
