  2. Hey everyone, I'll just explain what's going on and hopefully someone can give me insight into what I'm doing wrong. I'm making a weapons mod, and I've modeled, textured, mapped it and everything. All of it is done, looks great in editors, lovely. So I go to put it in Creation kit via Nif skope, and for some reason textures just DO NOT WANT TO WORK. At all. Now, i'm not used to Nif Skope, and I've noticed there's hardly any good tutorials for using Nif Skope, but I did manage to find one guy (german guy) who imported a sword through using Daedric Sword. I did this approach, but the textures don't load. On top of that, in the Creation kit, the model loads without the texture, but in game it comes up as a daedric sword! I feel like it's something stupidly simple, I have looked, I did use the search tool. I've scoured for hours and nothing has worked. Anyone got any advice?
  3. So I'll admit that I'm new to modding, and I've followed the tutorial for modding, however, I seem to be getting problems left and right after replacing the models. If anyone can help me with this, I'd be grateful. My issue is that the model doesn't seem to want to open. It crashes GECK and so on. It's nothing complex like clothing or armour or anything, it's just a solid object. Any help would be great.
  4. He means simply modifying the preexisting mod (for Oblivion) so that it conforms to the needs of Fallout 3.
  5. I just recently finished a model of the M1 Abrahms, and can upload the .MAX file, or .3DS file if anyone wants to create something similar to the Chimera tank mod... I figured those going for a military style gameplay would enjoy this mod? Image here! Click this All comments welcome *EDIT* I am fully aware of the process for converting to .NIF, however, I use Autodesk 3DS Max 2011, and no NIF tools plugin has been made for that as of yet..
