  1. I've never worried about the warnings for deleted navmeshes and disabling references. That's just means that TES5edit is doing its job. If you're getting those messages it does not indicated a problem. It's absolutely fine. And what video are you talking about?
  2. I don't know anything about creating a music mod, sorry to say, but maybe looking at this mod and how it's structured might help: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/13286/? Maybe you can read the posts over there. Sorry that I can't be of more help. If I were you, I'd be Googling everything. That's how I learn things. Good luck!
  3. I'd have to go back pretty far to load an earlier save. I think it might be easier to just make a new follower, and by doing so I might actually discover why the old follower's eyebrows went missing. I was hoping, though, that someone would know what went wrong and tell me. Oh well.
  4. Well, as much as it kills me to admit this, I understood only about half of what you just wrote. What I did understand, however, is what answers my question best, and that is that the links do lead back to the original post, and that I need to wait till the page loads completely, or, if waiting for the page to load doesn't help, search the page for the post I'm looking for as it will be there. Correct? And thanks for your help.
  5. Reading the comments on the mod page is what I'm referring to. Some mods, like Racemenu, has more than 700 pages of comments, and I can't even begin to track all of that if I'm looking for something specific. If I need specific informatiom I'll search the comments, but then I run into a lot of posts that are replies to other posts. There have been many times I've wanted to find the original post, but couldn't because I couldn't figure out what the numbers are referring to. I hope I'm making sense, and thanks for responding so quickly.
  6. This is the wrong place to post this. I know that, but I couldn't see where else to ask, and this forum is very active so I thought I'd get the answer I'm looking for here. When checking out a mod, or if I have questions, I'll read the posts, and a lot of the time I'll see something like this: In response to post #21798244. #21805079, #21811114, #21834554 are all replies on the same post. When I click on a number like the ones above, I'll get taken to another page that I assume has the original post on it, yet I can never seem to find the post I'm looking for, and I can't see what the numbers represent. They don't seem to correspond to anything. This confuses me. If I'm looking for whatever post the responses are for, how would I go about doing that? I'm probably missing something obvious here, but I can't seem to figure this out on my own. Thanks!
  7. To give you an idea of what I'm talking about, I currently have 201 mods. The vast majority of them are armor, hair, jewelry, and clothing mods, which affect my character and my followers only, and even then I can only use four armors at a time (for my character and my three followers), so not much impact on the game there. I use this mod here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/9080/? and I use the full version since my graphics card is only one gig. I don't use the high res texture packs from Bethesda. I have too much trouble with my computer's performance if I do. I run screaming from any mod that re-textures grass and water. I once had a mod that added plants to Riverwood -- only Riverwood, not the rest of the game -- and you wouldn't believe how slow the game got for me. Like, it took ten minutes, I swear, just for my character to turn her head. I dumped that mod. Problem solved. If you want to re-texture large parts of the game, chances are you'll be staring at a very pretty, and very frozen, screen. Not worth it. Currently, the only re-texture mods I'm running that affect large parts of the game, aside from the one I gave a link to above, is Superior Lore Friendly Hair, Coverwomen, Covereyes, and Better Males. The only overhauls I'm using is Amazing Follower Tweaks, which affect only my followers, not every NPC in the game; Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions and RS Children, which affect only the kids, and there aren't that many kids in the game; FNIS Sexy Walk, which affects all the women and is a hilarious mod, if you ask me; about four house mods, some weapons and armor, and that's about it. I really try to go easy on anything that has scripts or does a lot of re-texturing. Like I said, it's just not worth the hassle. Hope this helps and let me know how things go.
  8. Wow, your post is greyed out and can't be seen unless you highlight it. Weird. Okay, so are you creating a mod, or using someone else's mod to add music to your game? If you are creating a mod, I can't help you there, but I can tell you that all of Skyrim's files are packaged in its BSA files. So Skyrim's music files are likely located in its Sounds.bsa file. You'd need to use some sort of BSA extractor to open up this file. If your'e using someone else's file I might be able to help there, since I use Skyradio. I use Mod Organizer too, and had some confusion installing Skyradio when I first tried to install it. Please provide more info and I'll see if I can help you or not.
  9. You are running A TON of overhaul mods. A lot! And from what I understand, using texture replacers for grass and/or water is going to affect your computer's performance. I know this from experience. My graphics card is only one gig, so I have to stick with vanilla textures for the most part. Skyrim isn't as pretty that way, but I'd rather actually play Skyrim than just sit and look at it. And I don't have anything that overhauls the game in a major way. The very first thing I'd do if I were you is get rid of most of your texture mods, especially the ones that re-texture plants and water, since plants and water are everywhere in the game, and your computer has to run all of it all the time. Do that and your game will run much better. Also, why do you have Skyrim and all the DLCs at the bottom of your list? Your master files should be at the top of your load list.
  10. If you ask me I'd say you're running a lot of script-heavy mods and texture-heavy mods, and you are just plain hitting the memory cap very quickly. You might want to dump some of the mods that gobble your computer's resources. Mods that re-texture large aspects of the game -- such as grass and water -- use up the game's memory, and of course mods with scripts will affect your computer's performance too. Stick with mods that have small impacts on the game, not huge overhauls.
  11. I used Save Script Cleaner for the first time ever a couple of days ago. Could this have deformed my follower? At this point it doesn't matter, I guess, since I'm in the process of making another follower using Racemenu and Citrus Heads (yes, epic fail in progress), but I would like to know what happened.
  12. Go to this site and follow step #12: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/56894/? It sounds like you need to run the sort masters function of TES5edit. If this doesn't help let me know what mods you're having trouble with and I'll see what I can figure out.
  13. Plus, you could always download and install the mods manually. If you're using Nexus Mod Manager, all your mods will go into your data folder regardless of whether you're installing manually or installing via NMM.
  14. Found this in my inbox today. It might have something to do with being unable to update NMM. Did you get your problem resolved? We're aware the forums have been largely inaccessible and now down since 11pm (GMT) on the 18th of June. In an unwelcome throwback to the 2013-2014 Nexus years the RAID controller on the forum server has seemingly packed in. Perhaps the forum server wanted to give us one last gift before we (had planned) to transition to the new cloud-based system over the weekend? Thankfully all our database operations are stored on a 5-server database cluster unrelated to the forum server, so things like the member database, posts, topics, etc. are all fine, dandy and indeed all working from the NexusMods.com site as usual. The forums, including new registrations, are not however. We're continuing to look in to it, but it's coming up on 3AM now and this might take a while. Just a heads up.
  15. Are you using Nexus Mod Manager, or Mod Organizer? Or are you using the main Steam launcher? How are you installing and managing your mods?
  16. What is the image size you're using? I think the max is 4096. Is your image size too large or too small for what you need?
  17. I'm not sure what your issue is, to be honest. You'll need to provide more details. I'm assuming that your'e using MO and that LOOT is getting your load order wrong. Is that it? If so, then the answer is to run LOOT through Mod Organizer, but don't use the Sort button. You have to run LOOT through MO. Running LOOT outside of MO wouldn't work, because LOOT will try to read your data folder, and your data folder won't actually have any of your mods in it if you're using MO. Make sense? There are two ways to run LOOT through MO. One is to use the Sort button found above the right-hand side plugin list. The other is to run LOOT by choosing it via the drop-down menu next to the Run button. Run LOOT through the drop-down menu. There's a bug that's popped up recently where using the Sort button either gets the load order just plain wrong -- which is happening to me -- or it's ordering the plugin list alphabetically -- which is happening to others. The only solution is to not use the Sort button until this problem is worked out. Or maybe use an earlier version of MO maybe? I don't know about that, though. Not sure if that would work. Not using the Sort button has worked fine for me. What exactly is your issue anyway? I need more details, like I said.
  18. There's an issue with LOOT that many people -- including me -- are experiencing at the present time. If you run LOOT through Mod Organizer using the Sort button found above the right-hand side list of plugins, it will get the load order wrong. My load order gets all wonked out, while others have had their load orders ordered alphabetically. Run LOOT without using the Sort button instead. If you've followed the Modding Beginner's Guide then you should be able to access LOOT through Mod Organizer, so run it through MO, just don't use the Sort button, if that makes sense.
  19. Yup. He's a custom follower that I made for myself. When I first made him, I was using custom eyebrows that didn't make the transition from the CK to the game. So I went back in and gave him some vanilla eyebrows. Worked great! No problems. Then I quit using my follower mod for awhile. Today, I re-installed my follower mod, and his eyebrows are gone. Huh?
  20. Makes sense. I also found that I can see what's in my saves by using Wrye Bash. I've also discovered the joy of the Save Game Cleaner tool. Awesome thing, that tool. Thanks to everyone's help, I think I'm gonna be okay. Now it's time to run into another problem with my game! "Cause isn't that how it works? You can't just sit down and play a game without endless and mysterious CTDs and other issues. So much fun!
  21. Good idea. I'll try that later today or tomorrow then report back.
  22. Maybe. I did download some from Dragonporn, Loverslab, and http://modtype.doorblog.jp/. I'll have to check those sites more thoroughly, I guess. I was hoping someone would just tell me. Save me the trouble, lol.
  23. According to my Papyrus log, my game isn't recognizing the existence of Wearable Lanterns. I can live without this mod, I guess, but I don't want to have to start over, since I've had Wearable Lanterns right from the start. Then I found this post: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=249185622 Is it safe to use the save cleaner to remove Wearable Lanterns? Anyone have experience with removing mods mid-game?
  24. Sorry to keep posting so much, but I'm having an issue with my game saying I'm missing content when I load my latest save. I took a look at my save with Wrye Bash and noticed a file called Ly Lyt.esp. I have no idea what this is. Does anyone know what it is?
