Greetings mr Dan Megs I think there's some things you must check first. First check if your armor was exported from blender correctly. The root node (NiNode) must be only one and must be named SceneRoot. Sometimes when exporting from blender the NiNode has another NiNode inside with the name of SceneRoot.00 If that's the reason, then you have to import the armor back to blender, delete the skeleton, add new skeleton from the game choosing "Import Skeleton only + Parent to selected armature", then export it again with the new skeleton.
