  1. i have v1.0.22 is there a later release? edit- installing 1.1 rc1 i installed this but get this error when loading nifs (in nifskope) ""device position incorrect after block number 4 (hkPackedNiTriStripsData) at 0x30c ended at 0xf17 (expected 0x6ef)"" ""array Blocks much too large. 16777216 bytes requested"" ""device position incorrect after block number 15 (BSPackedAdditionalGeometryData) at 0xbab ended at 0xc4b (expected 0x102c)"" ""array Blocks much too large. 16777216 bytes requested"" ""device position incorrect after block number 20 (BSPackedAdditionalGeometryData) at 0x1c7d ended at 0x1d1d (expected 0xaede)""
  2. some of the f3 nifs wont load in nifskope I get this error ""failed to load file header (version 14020007, 20.2.0.7)"" "failed to load nif from 'C:/Users/MATTHEW/Desktop/Bethesda Works/Fallout 3 Extracts/MeshBSA/meshes/weapons/1handpistol/44magnumrevolver.nif'" I tried loading a creature and it loaded, but there was no mesh visible. Any ideas? EDIT: In nifskope, it only opens thew actions like attack, but not the model like eyebot even when it loads the action, I dont see anything
  3. Hmm... I tried both. I am reading the ini it says InstallPath=[HKLM\SOFTWARE\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout3]=@"Installed Path" could the fact of having neither games installed to my pc pose a problem?

  5. I have been trying to open nif files for the past week, for fallout 3 and skyrim; however, Im unable to. I have installed the nifskope plugin 3.7 for max 2011, and it wont work in either nifskope or 3ds max. I have tried doing the import function, but it says the string is too long. Heres a screen cap of the plugin being loaded and the error. Any help, Id appreciate it.
