  1. Added my Skyrim folder to exceptions, then briefly turned down antivirus, so that I could download skse and place it in skyrim folder. Then turned on antivirus again - and everything worked fine, I could play. Still, I hope the issue is solved in Avast.
  2. coolcharles, for now the only solution is to disable avast antivirus.
  3. Well, it deleted the installer I had for a back-up and doesn't let me download either installer or archive. And I can't imagine playing without cool skse-relying mods.
  4. I guess it is just Avast being too cautious. Like when game trainers or cheat programs are classified as viruses. SKSE interacts with skyrim scripts, maybe that's why it suddenly fell under suspicion
  5. Same thing here. Avast is a scoundrel! But how to bypass this magic without changing to other antivirus?
  6. Well, at least I'm not alone in this.
  7. Ever since I started going through Dawnguard questline I am randomly attacked by gargoyles. Usually one weak gargoyle appears behind my back every 3 or 4 in-game days, sometimes more frequently. I can explore some distant dungeon, brew meth potions or have a chat with some Jarl - and suddenly there is a gargoyle. It's kinda annoying. Can it be fixed without starting a new game? Oh, and I'm not sure starting a new game fixes that.
