  1. EDIT : I think I found a solution! Disabling the [C.Water] tags with Wrye Bash! I tried using Wrye Bash. In it, I found that I could deactivate the [C.Water] tag from the Unofficial Oblivion Patch.esm, so I unchecked the [C.Water] tag. Then, when I installed Realistic Leveling, I saw that RealisticLeveling.esm had also a tag named [C.Water]. I also unchecked it and now the freeze is gone and Oblivion works with both mods installed! Same thing for Better Cities, except the [C.Water] tag is on some esp files but not the main esm. I disabled every [C.Water] tags from them and the game is working fine with all of these mods. I don't even know what is a Bash tag and I don't know how they affect the game... But in the end, I think that the [C.Water] tag is the problem for me. I also looked at the water in game to see if [C.Water] was affecting that and I did not see any change.
  2. Greetings, I discovered that if I install Better Cities, Realistic Leveling and/or CM Partners along with the Unofficial Oblivion patch or Unofficial DLC patches, my game freezes after I see the Bethesda logos. The game works only if the esm mods are installed or the unofficial patches are installed. I cannot run both because Oblivion freezes at start-up. I’d love to try Better Cities, but not using the unofficial patches is not wise. I need help! :pinch: I have the Steam version of Oblivion (GOTY) and OBSE is working. I use OBBM for most mods and NMM for Kvatch Rebuilt, Oblivion Character Overhaul and Better Cities. I also use LOOT to sort my load order. Here is my current load order and my mods installed through OBMM (Better Cities, CM Partners and Realistic Leveling are not installed, all the unofficial patches are installed). I tried some things many times to solve this issue, to no avail. - Restarted Steam and my PC - Reinstalled Oblivion - Verified my game cache - Even cleaned the DLCs with TES4Edit Here is what I see in LOOT when the unofficial patches are installed and I think this is where the answer to my problem lies. I’m sure the red texts that say “C.Water”, “C.Climate” and “C.Light” are the cause of my problem but I don’t know what they mean… I don’t know what to do and I really want to start a new character with all these mods. If anyone knows about this and can give me some info about how to fix it or about what I am missing, I’d be grateful. I’m very eager to play!
  3. Yes, that's what I thought. It makes me think of a problem I had in Skyrim, where the explore music was playing in dungeons. I had to uninstall every mod and install them three at a times and test to see who was the culprit. Finally, it was the mod Morskom Estate, but I found a way in the MCM menu to eliminate the issue so I could keep Morskom Estate. Have you tried to run Oblivion with only the mod Alternate Start installed? If so and if it works, I recommend you do the same as I did: uninstalling all mods, installing them little by little and testing every three to five mods. I know it is quite boring, especially with a load order like yours, but it's worth it! :P
  4. Hello, Have you tried cleaning your mods and official DLCs? I don't know about BOSS, but LOOT says when you should clean a mod. I'm sorry if you knew that already but for me TES4Edit made these "Oblivion has stopped working" messages disappear (I was getting them while outdoor). Here is a link that shows how to use TES5Edit (but TES4Edit works the same way). Good luck!
  5. I'm sure that I'm writing this for nothing because we're in 2015, but who knows. I have the exact same problem as you Yknuf (the exploration tracks keep playing in taverns and dungeons), except the bug reappeared ten hours after reloading an earlier save (a save where there were no problems, as I said the very same bug). I so love the music in this game and I can't think about removing it. The bug, as you said, is very immersion breaking. I've tried to reinstall all my mods, reinstall the game, type in the console addmusic and removemusic commands to no avail. No one I know can help, so I share my problem on this forum because I'm desperately trying to fix my Skyrim and because you are the only person that I found who had this problem. I wonder if there is any hope to remove this bug...
